Hairy ears are an inherited trait that some geneticists believed was passed along on the Y (male) chromosomes. Also, if you have hairy ears you are more likely to be bald. Hairy ears have no purpose.

The distinctive odor of feces is due to bacterial action. Gut flora produce compounds such as indole, skatole, and thiols (sulfur containing compounds), as well as the inorganic gas hydrogen sulfide. These are the same compounds that are responsible for the odor of flatulence. Consumption of foods with spices may result in the spices being undigested and adding to the odor of feces.

Smell and taste belong to our chemical sensing system (chemosensation). The complicated processes of smelling and tasting begin when molecules released by the substances around us stimulate special nerve cells in the nose, mouth, or throat. These cells transmit messages to the brain, where specific smells or tastes are identified.

If you have ever smelled sh*t, than you know what it tastes like.

    Dear Jhony,

Why did the Colts lose that game?

Also, why is methicillian-resistant staphylococcus aureus immune to antibiotics?

Widespread use (and abuse) of antibiotics.

Very good answers.. I'm impressed.. but what is it about that strain of staphlococcus is special that makes it resistant?

You tell me that, I'll make us both billionaires. ;)

"Everything tastes like chicken" is a commonly used metaphor for "It tastes good". i.e. P*ssy smells like fish but tastes like chicken. Most things described as tasting like chicken actually do not taste like chicken at all, with exception for frogs legs and turtle meat.

Penicillinase: An enzyme found especially in staphylococcal bacteria that inactivates the penicillins by hydrolyzing them.

I thought it was because the robots that control us don't have taste buds... I'm not even sure chicken really tastes like chicken.

Of course not. You may have an infection of your taste buds. Or a large piece of tasty chicken in between your teeth. I recommend dental flossing and Listerine mouthwash.

How can we develop a safe antibiotic to kill it?

  16. jhony5

    jhony5 Big Time BS'er

With research, of course. An antibiotic, however, is not the answer.

Whatever kills it or inhibits it, and eventually someone will figure t out, will be an antibiotic by nature.. it is a bacteria..

"antibiotic" now is used to refer to substances with anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, or anti-parasitical activity. ~ commiepedia

Prevention through sanitation is the answer. This includes contraceptives as it is sexually transmittable.

I think it's mainly a problem with wound and burn patients.. People with open skin. Not really known as an STD.. people get bad staph infections and it's resistant..

But staphlococcus aureas causes alot of stuff.. antibiotics are great for most..

Not known as a sexually transmitted disease, but it can be sexually transmitted.

This bores me. More questions please.
