Unfortunately, it turned out to be a child's book by Dr. Seuss. Following in the footsteps of Ted Cruz, this new medium promises to finally speak to the base of the Republican Party with a voice they can understand. It's just unfortunate that it took a book written for pre-schools to break into their thought processes but neither is it surprising to the rest of us. Palin really came off like a smug bitch reading it. Thank goodness for her that she had the CliffNotes written on her hand.

In CPAC Speech, Sarah Palin Channels Dr. Seuss to Knock Obama

Republican star Sarah Palin closed out the Conservative Political Action Conference today, taking on both President Obama and the GOP establishment in her speech to the conservative crowd.
Palin took aim at the president’s foreign policy strategy, specifically how he has dealt with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“How do you convey to Putin the threat that sounds like ‘Vladimir don’t mess around or you’re going to feel my flexibility because I’ve got a phone and I’ve got a pen and I can dial really fast and poke you with my pen — pinkie promise,’” Palin said.
“I’m probably being too hard on the president. After all, who could’ve seen this coming?” Palin said, referring to her own warnings about Russia’s intentions.
Talking about the president’s handling of Iran’s nuclear capability, Palin said, “Mr. President, the only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke.”
Palin criticized the president on issues ranging from Obamacare to the response to the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, to the IRS scandal. She also accused Democrats of “demeaning women” with their policies.
“Hey Democrats! It’s your leaders who are demeaning women,” Palin said. “Liberals seem to think the women of America are cheap dates.”
But the former Alaskan governor didn’t just lob critiques at President Obama. She also fired at lawmakers in her own party, calling members of the Republican establishment “GOP beltway boys.”
“I do believe that the eyes of America are open. Unfortunately though, some would want you to hit the snooze button and roll back over. Like ‘Hush America, go back to sleep little lambs,’” Palin said. “Some of these folks are in the GOP establishment.”
Palin shared particular praise for Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, whom she endorsed during the Texas Senate primary in 2012 over the establishment-backed candidate.
“Thank you, Texas because liberty needs a Congress on Cruz control,” Palin said. “The awakening began, and Sen. Ted Cruz helped keep them awake. His filibuster, it worked in waking people up to the folly of a government takeover.
“He told his colleagues it was time, time to stand up, time to use the tools of the Constitution, the power of the purse and to fulfill their campaign promises and to stop Obamacare,” she said. “But our army balked. We hoped that they were just reloading, but instead they retreated, and worse, worse, they joined the lapdogs in the lamestream to trash the foot soldiers who had fought for America.”
Palin noted that Cruz read “Green Eggs and Ham” during his 21-hour filibuster, and she provided her own rendition of the children’s classic, crediting “the Internet” for some of the lines.
“I do not like this Uncle Sam. I do not like his healthcare scam,” Palin said. “I do not like these dirty crooks or how they lie and cook the books. I do not like when Congress stills. I do not like their crony deals. I do not like the spying man. I do not like ‘Oh yes we can.’ I do not like this spending spree. We’re smart we know there’s nothing free. I do not like reporters’ smug replies when I complain about their lies. I do not like this kind of hope. And we won’t take it, nope, nope, nope. Hat tip the Internet.”
During Palin’s speech, some in the crowd yelled, “Run, Sarah, Run!”
Palin, who only received 2 percent in the Washington Times-CPAC presidential straw poll, said to laughter, “I should, I didn’t get to run this morning. I was so busy. Did some hot yoga and didn’t get to run.”

I'd assume that the kids who were getting "The Pet Goat" from President Bush as planes were flying into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon have moved on to greater things. Unless they grew up to be Tea Partiers, in which case by 9/11 they'd already pretty much hit their ceiling in terms of reading material and they're still being read to by their leaders.

She's no woman. She's an animal.

Keep it up and she'll leave you out of the three-way again. I already voted "Hell no!", but then she got naked and here we are.

Lose the clothes, old man, or get the hell out. This isn't a peep show.

Nice generalizing there. That carries about as much water as your leaky depends.

Conservatives use policy to attack women. It's policies stupid, policies. It's funny that you can generalize one person's tongue-in-cheek comment to ALL liberals but when one political party (yours) institutes policy and after policy that directly adversely affects women, you don't seem to be able to generalize that behavior for some reason to the entire base that actually supports it.

    Partisan stupid? Oh yeah!

Bottom line is, they can relate. They always had an aversion for the young

"”You got to marry these girls when they are about 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks. You need to check with mom and dad about that, of course.”"

Well, that is of course, when they are not sitting in their camo underwear at the evening circle jerk sucking each others duck calls ...

While the other "they" rape them and/or watch the rape (and fail to report it). So far it is 50/50 against "them". Don't believe me?

On several ocassions, I witnessed the guy across from my room drag some young girl into his room that could barely stand up because she was so drunk. Then I would see three or four more guys walk into the room and take turns on this passed out girl. Now pretty much having sex with someone that is too drunk to give consent is rape in almost any state.[/quote]

Nobody cares what Frat boys (notorious bastions of the Right-wing) do to their Sorority chicks especially back in the 70's. What matters is what those same Right-wingers are doing today. They be all grown up now and we know where they learned to disrespect women. Frat houses. I doubt these young stupid girls knew what they were in for way be then but they certainly do today and they are most likely married to these same pukes. They are your allies now, and you are more complicit in their behavior than anyone. Rapists, misogynists, and losers one and all. Hell, you're probably covering up what you did back then in your frat house for all we know.

No, you don't care what happens and you have shown it time and time again - unless you can use it against the other side. For instance, you advocate violence to promote your mores, but you berate the Tea Party for their violence even though you can prove none of it. George was guilty as soon as you discovered Trayvon was black even thought you had zero proof. Etc. and so on.

WOW! Raping women is not violent but moving a barricade is. How can you even put them in the same world. Keep it coming so I can have more proof of your biases.

Because this thread (your thread, BTW) is about Mrs. Palin and your parrot brought in rape.

Since when have you ever let the topic of a thread stop you from talking about anything else? Like right above this post where you brought up a bunch of Right-wing frat boys raping a drunken sorority girl. It's a fairly common occurrence in fraternities but they are Right-wingers so who cares.

Speaking of which, have you witnessed any other girls being raped? Did you fail to report those, too? You witnessed one of the most horrific acts being perpetrated against a woman, but you thought it was OK because it was just frat boys doing what frat boys do. My opinion of you isn't even worth the effort it takes to type it out.
