So people that have been completely devastated by a category 5 hurricane need visas and passports if they want this country to help them. Only in this administration. He seems to have only one response to black and brown people entering this country; They are bad people, gang members, and very bad drug dealers.

He concerned about the safety of American citizens.

Of course someone like you, who undoubtedly thinks the illegal who murdered Kate Stienley in San Francisco, was acting within his rights would not care about that issue. The jury in that hellhole only convicted him of a weapons charge, then the court system tossed that. He is still on the hook for Federal charges. If he beats that rap, he join you in voting Democrat which is the whole idea behind open borders.

Typical Right-wing compassion for victims of a horrific hurricane.

Oh I care about them very deeply. I think that they should all be allowed in the country for time that it takes to help them get back on their feet. The issue is we don’t want people here with malicious intent.

Having you credentials destroyed during the storm is a real problem, and perhaps immigration officials will find solutions.

You love to put me in political boxes, but I don’t fit in a number of them. You, on the other hand, have built a wall around yourself. You hate Trump and you denigrate everyone who supports him. A softer approach might get more people on the fence to vote the way you would like them to vote.

Wonder if I would need a visa to enter the Bahama's right now?

U.S. citizens never did need visas.

The question was an honest one. I do recall when I took my wife to the Bahama's ten years ago we secured visas before our vacation.

You asked about right now, not 10 years ago and while you need a passport, you do not need a visa. Enjoy your trip. They could use the tourist dollars right now.

You probably do need a passport, and you have to buy the visa stamp once you get there. That's the way it's been in Jamaica for the several years I went there.

The last time I went to Jamaica, two guys somehow got on the flight without passports. When they landed, they were not admitted into the country and had to fly right back to the U.S.

The days where you could enter those countries with a birth certificate or an expired passport were over long ago.

Trump was interested in passports so that the customs officials can identify who is coming into the country. The idea is to prevent anyone who might be on a criminal or terrorist watch list from getting in. That is a perfectly reasonable position.
