I wonder why all the kids didnt die? I mean if the coach was so reckless and all. Here in Vegas football practice starts in August. I'd say its about 110 in the afternoon. These kids seem to hold up ok. But you know that if that coach said to that kid ..''You cant play because I am worried about your health''. The kid's parents still wouldve sued because the coach didnt like little Timmy. So from now on everybody practices by playing John Madden's football on Playstation 3
When I played hockey we had to sign hold harmless agreements in case we got hurt. Of course overheating was not that big of a problem. Not allowing a kid to have water though is beyond assinine. We always had water at practice and games because we DID get hot. Cripes goalies keep a water bottle on the top of the friggin net.
If they tried to stop football ( or any sport for that matter ) in AZ, there would be a riot amongst the parents. At times, they are more involved than the kids.
All too true Jack and the sports should continue of course. Parents get stupid, coaches get stupid and for the most part the kids just want to play. Reminds me of a story about a guy watchng a Little League game and you showed me the field where it took place. Damn shame isn't it?
