    93 shot down common sense

For a plane that flew into the ground, Flight 93 left a rather widespread debris field. Investigators found a second debris field three miles away from the main crash site at Indian Lake, and a third debris field in New Baltimore, eight miles away. NTSB officials suggested that the debris at these distant locations "blew there in the wind after the crash", but eyewitnesses at Indian Lake saw the debris falling out of the sky, like confetti. One of the engines was 600 feet from the main debris field by some accounts and a mile by others.

Best trained pilots couldn't copy Hani the flunkee

None of the hijackers were good pilots. None had ever flown jets, let alone large commercial jetliners. Hani Hanjour, the person supposedly responsible for flying Flight 77 into the Pentagon, was failing his courses at the Arizona flight school. According to an employee, "He didn't care about the fact that he couldn't get through the course." Rick Garza, a flight instructor at Sorbi's Flying Club, had this to say about the two alleged hijackers originally thought to have piloted Flight 77, Khalid al-Mihdar and Nawaq al-Hamzi: "It was like Dumb and Dumber, I mean, they were clueless. It was clear they were never going to make it as pilots."

It is doubtful that the best trained fighter pilots could have executed the maneuver that supposedly crashed a 757 into the Pentagon. It required making a tight 320-degree turn while descending seven thousand feet, then leveling out so as to fly low enough over the highway just west of the Pentagon to knock down lamp posts. After crossing the highway the pilot had to take the plane to within inches of the ground so as to crash into the Pentagon at the first-floor level and at such a shallow angle that an engine penetrated three rings of the building, while managing to avoid touching the lawn. And he had to do all of this while flying over 400 mph. Quite a feat for a flight school flunky who had never sat in the cockpit of a jet.
Lemming response: Duh....maybe he got lucky??

    Lehigh's Hero

Throughout the spring and summer of 2001 the Bush Administration, on behalf of the Unocal Corporation, was negotiating with the Taliban for pipeline rights-of-way across Afghanistan. A rich package of foreign aid was offered, but the negotiations failed.
Finally, after threatening the Taliban—“Accept our offer of a carpet of gold or we bury you under a carpet of bombs”—the Bush Administration notified Pakistan and India it would attack Afghanistan “before the end of October.” This took place five weeks prior to the events of 9/11. (Sources: Anon., “Afghanistan: A Timeline of Oil and Violence,” at www.ringnebula.com , and Larry Chin, “Parts I and II: Players on a rigged chessboard: Bridas, Unocal, and the Afghanistan pipeline,” Online Journal, March, 2002.)

On October 7, 2001 the “carpet of bombs” was delivered to Afghanistan as threatened and on schedule. Mr. Hamid Karzai, a former Unocal consultant, was soon installed as President of the country. The first U.S. ambassador was John J. Maresca, a Unocal vice president. He was succeeded by Zalmay Khalilzad, another former consultant for Unocal. (See “Oil War III: the Engineering of Oil Profits Through War and Arbitrary Monetary Standards,” at http://www.whale.to/b/sw1.html ; and “Afghanistan: A Timeline of Oil and Violence,” cited above.)

On February 8, 2002, four months after the carpet of bombs, Presidents Hamid Karzai and Perves Musharraf sign an agreement for a pipeline across Afghanistan and Pakistan.
(See “U.S. Afghan Aid Package Fuels Pipeline Politics,” in Asia Times Online, May 29, 2002; and Crude Politics cited above.)

Within a year an oil industry trade journal reports the Bush Administration is standing ready with financing to build the pipeline and to protect it with a permanent military presence. (See Alexander’s Gas and Oil Connections, February 23, 2003.)

On June 22, 2008 the Toronto Sun reported the signing of a “major deal” by Afghanistan to build an $8 billion, 1,680km pipeline, called “TAPI.” (The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India pipeline.) Construction will begin “…once Taliban forces are cleared from the pipeline route by U.S., Canadian, and NATO forces.” (See Eric Margolis, “These Wars Are About Oil, Not Democracy,” Toronto Sun, June 22, 2008.)

The objectives of the “war on terror,” were twofold, we were told: to apprehend Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan and to effect a change of regime in Iraq.

But the trademark deceit of the Bush Administration was involved here, too. Osama bin Laden could have been brought to justice easily and without armed conflict, and regime change in Iraq could have been achieved with equal facility.

Awaiting on his desk when George Bush took office was a standing offer from the Taliban to surrender Osama bin Laden. (This had been negotiated by the Clinton Administration after the bombing of the U.S.S. Cole.) Intent on the invasion and military occupation of Afghanistan, however, the Bush Administration rejected the handover three times before 9/11 and twice thereafter. (The tragic speculation: with bin Laden in custody early in 2001, could 9/11 have been avoided?)

(Sources: Anon., “Bush Rejects Taliban Offer to Hand bin Laden Over,” UK Guardian Unlimited, October 14, 2001; Andrew Buncombe, “Bush Rejects Taliban Offer to Surrender bin Laden,” the UK Independent, October 15, 2001; Alexander Cockburn and Jeffrey St. Clair, “How Bush Was Offered bin Laden and Blew It,” CounterPunch, November 1, 2004.).

Saddam Hussein, hoping to forestall warfare, yielded a series of increasingly attractive concessions to the Bush Administration, finally offering to leave his country for exile in Egypt. Intent as well on the invasion and military occupation of Iraq, the Administration ignored the offer.

(Sources: George Monbiot, “Dreamers and Idiots: Britain and the US did everything to avoid a peaceful solution in Iraq and Afghanistan,” The UK Guardian, November 11, 2003,; and Anon., “Llego el momento de deshacerse de Saddam,” El Pais (Spain), September 26, 2007. This is a transcript of a conversation between George Bush, Condoleezza Rice, and Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Anzar in Crawford, Texas, February 22, 2003. The President acknowledges the prospective exile, but vigorously rejects it, declaring, “We will be in Baghdad at the end of March.”)

Your point is obvious Drusus. All I can say is that it is extremely frustrating, sad and depressing that folks are so willfully ignorant to the world around them.

    Sweet guy that George

In my life, I have never seen a President as patriotic as Bush. His patriotism and religious beliefs were so strong that it led him to make some horrible mistakes during his administration. Everything he did was based upon his unwaivering dedication to his own core beliefs. You seem to think he is the antichrist.
    =========================
One of the antichrist's helpers, more likely. I would think even Satan would be embarrassed to have Georgey boy as his head representitive. Anybody got any shoes we could throw??

If the president of the US 1) willfully and deliberately pre-plans and executes a massive international CRIMINAL FRAUD lying campaign (as a pre-planned false cover story for a pre-planned unprovoked war) that knowingly and falsely states that another country has WMD and is about to use them against us, 2) knows that if he were to attack that country that his attack would kill thousands of innocent women and children and at least hundreds of US military, 3) and then knowingly attacks that innocent country and kills those thousands of innocent people based solely upon his lies, 4) then his pre-planned unprovoked attack becomes his premeditated MURDER of ALL people killed as the result of his criminal fraud war (per the Felony Murder Doctrine).

    Larry Silverstein...lest we forget.

I remember getting a call from the, er, fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it." And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.

    "Pull it" Not THEM...."IT".

    Unignited Aluminothermics: Bi-Layered Chips

Micro-spheroidal particles in WTC dust consisting mostly of iron were documented in at least two scientific reports by 2005: a compilation of data by the USGS and a report for the owners of a skyscraper adjacent to the World Trade Center complex that sustained heavy damage in the attack.

Molten iron is one of the two principal products of a thermite reaction, the other being aluminum oxide, which tends to dissipate as an aerosol. The molten iron condenses and solidifies into particles whose size is a function of the thermite's reaction rate. Fast-acting super-thermites produce tiny droplets that become very nearly spherical due to surface tension.

The inescapable fact is that these spheroidal droplets in the WTC dust look exactly like the products of the combustion of nano-thermite explosives, and their discovery in consistently substantial concentrations in diverse samples of dust from the day of the attack weighs heavily against theories that they were generated by something other than the Twin Towers' destruction. Elemental analysis shows that they are dead ringers for known aluminothermic residues.

    Your idiocy knows no boundaries.

    Let me get this straight.

    • Bush Administration wants to build an oil pipeline in Afghanistan.
    • The Taliban says no
    • Bush Administration threatens to bomb them if they don't agree to the terms.
    • The Taliban says no
    • Bush Administration calls Osama Bin Laden to coordinate the terrorist attack on the United States which would allow the United states to declare war against Al-Qaeda, Afghanistan, and Bin Laden so they can build an oil pipeline.

That kind of circular logic proves you have no brain. And your sources are tabloid newspapers Tom. I love how you pretend to know anything about the inner workings of the Bush Administration. Were you there? Did you interview anyone in the Bush White house? Did you obtain any information from any credible sources?

You are liar and almost everything you post is a complete fabrication.

    • He didn't pre-plan the war idiot. You have no proof of that and to post it here shows your true character. If anyone is on a lying campaign it is you. George Bush was the President of the United States. What are you? A nobody, a truther idiot drone. You expect anyone to believe a loser like you over the President of the United States. Never gonna happen Gilligan.
    • Oh wait, the number got downgraded from millions to thousands overnight. I will take that as an admission that you like to lie and exaggerate in order to strengthen your position. Again, it shows you true character.
    • Innocent! Sadam Hussein was one of the most brutal dictators of the last 50 years. Nothing about that country and its government was innocent and there is nothing criminal about deposing him.
    • It is not murder, they are casualties of war. Like it or not, people die in wars. It is an unavoidable fact. (Felony murder doctrine, you are so ridiculous).

Stop cluckin and post the poll!

    Wow,

You really don't get it do you. It doesn't matter what the news source is Tom. They all lie. Everything you are fed by the media is twisted to suit their own personal agendas. You treat these news sources as gospel. You cant trust any of them

Haven't you ever been personally involved in something that was reported on the news. The news story is usually complete fiction and nothing like what really happened.

You don't know a damn thing about aeronautics or about the capabilities of the best trained fighter pilots in the military. This is just more propaganda.

So I guess all three got lucky huh Tom. If it was that hard, one of them would have failed. None did!

Why don't you ever tell the truth you coward. Tell everyone on this forum that the hardest part about operating an aircraft is twofold, takeoff & landing. The terrorists were concerned with neither.

It has been proven that your understanding of basic metallurgy is almost non-existent, yet you think you can give a little lecture about spheroidal dust droplets caused by nano thermite reactions. Give us a break. You have no idea what you are talking about. You are just regurgitating this information from another ridiculous truther source.

    Go get an education Gilligan!
