Who is Alex Jones? In order to be against the security of the United States intent is required. That is not present in the truther movement. They genuinely believe that they are acting in the best interest of their country. The problem is that they spew their conspiracy stuff without actual proof and don't consider the consequences if they are wrong. Just so we are clear though, it is the position of the truthers that the government officials responsible for 9/11 are all republicans, correct?
That is very far from "correct". I personally don't care if they're Repubs, Dems, or members OF AAA, SPCA or the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The officials responsible are criminals, in the highest, most severe sense of the word. Thye need to be in jail for several thousand years until their children's grandchildren's bodies have rotted away to dust, and then their remaining ashes should be spilled into vats of sulphuric acid, and burned for another thousand years. Anyone remotely responsible for that horror of a day and all the consequences that developed and have yet to develop as a result are no less hideous. Alex Jones is what I would call a true patriot. He's a bit, shall we say, "out there" from time to time, but, I likely would be as well if I knew what he knew.
You know this hasn't been much of a debate. Doesn't anyone have any input besides Lehigh and Bluebird/RedIndian (or whoever the hell he was)? I'd add that although it hasn't been a very "back and forth" kind of debate, I do think that it has shown what a flock of scared/ignorant sheep we all are. I guess that has some merit for educational purposes anyway....

We know nothing of your credentials because you refuse to post them. Since you won't let this go, I have a few questions. First, do you admit that the majority of the people you think are responsible for 9/11 are high ranking republican politicians? Second, do you admit that the news media is very liberal and not kind to republicans. Third, if you admit the first two points, can you explain why the liberal media would support the cover story for your supposed conspiracy? It seems to me that the members of the media would have seized any chance they could to defame/discredit the Bush administration. If there was truth to the conspiracy, why hasn't the media found the definitive proof? BTW. Is that a new wrinkle you just slipped in there? Are you now saying that Islamic terrorists had no involvement in 9/11? How did the military convince an American pilot to perform a kamikaze maneuver? What happened to missing commercial airliners and the passengers on those planes? By my count, that is 8 different questions you have to answer.

The fact is that you present yourself as an expert on 9/11 as well as many of the technical subjects of the debate (physics, metallurgy etc.) You do this without establishing any foundation of your qualifications in these areas. Furthermore, your refusal to post them hurts your credibility because it gives the impression that you have something to hide.
