Thermite Reactions are exothermic and don't release gasses, therefore there are no audible explosions. Well...let's use some of your logic. If could be said that your examples are long ago. The technical capabilities weren't available to stonewall/hide things as they are available today. But really...there are hundreds and hundreds of examples where the citizens of this great country are deprived of information and lied to over and over. Do you really think, with all the factions and subdivisions of the US, the CIA and it's tactics, etc,etc,etc. that SOME branch of it somewhere couldn't be involved? The chain of events that collectively occurred that day COULDN'T have possibly happened accidentally or through being inept. Too many things that were "automatic" had to have been disabled to have been random coincidences or incompetency. Geez...dig man! Dig for yourself! Take a look! One point I keep forgetting to correct you on that you keep referring to incorrectly...NANOthermite, which is quite different from regular thermite (mainly that the ignition temperature is much lower and can be manipulated to use an an EXPLOSIVE. Live nanothermite reactions from the WTC's. The second link addresses your attempted technical propaganda. Somehow I think the BYU professor knows a tad more than you on the subject.
