I'm hoping they'll eventually decide to have some sort of 'challenge' system too... they don't need it as often as football, but every now and then they ****-up and make a wrong call that hurts a team bad.
Who cares what inning it was? The call was pretty blatantly wrong. He had cash on the game....no other reason. Everybody in the stadium could see the call but him? Yeah right.
The umps are the least paid and hardest working guys on a baseball field. He should be sticking up for the comrades against those oppressive corporate players and owners.
