    That is all...

Too short? Ok, well, they are 7-0 and lead the NFL.

More? Sheesh! You people are demanding! Go 'fish'.

The Bucs were in the game till they decided to make that second on-sides kick attempt. After that, it was all she wrote. I'm glad for Packers fans, in that their team is having a great season, but I don't think that the Packers will have a perfect season (and I'd rather it not be the Packers that the Saints play in the Superbowl).

It is not right that the Packers have so many wins. They should be required to give some of those wins to other teams with less wins. The Packers also should not be excelling. We should have them play down to a lesser level so the teams that do not play as well will not feel inferior. Everyone should be the same.

Thank you Harrison Bergeron. ;) Seriously, they should just have let Tampa Bay win. Tampa needed it more. It's a self-esteem issue (and they still won't get close enough to the Saints to hurt them).

Nein, mein kampf! Your struggle to avoid Socialism shall fail!

That said, I don't like how much money the pros in Sports make... but for an entirely different reason. My complaint is that they 'black-out' local games... in order for people to pay to watch the games. They need the money to fill the team's coffers... and IMO, they have too much money as it is. Now, the Packers are some 300 miles away from me and they blacked-out the game here... same with the Lion's game, which is wayyy down state... but oddly enough the Viking's game was on. They must know I hate the Vikings lol

Being a life long Bears fan I don't like the Packers but I respect them and they have one hell of a team this year. Rodgers is incredible. I was glad for him when Favre left and he got to showcase his talent.

The Bears won their fifth in a row to improve to 7-3 but paid dearly. Cutler is out for the season with a broken thumb on his throwing hand.

I guess we'll see what Caleb Hainey can do. Not exactly a household name is it.

I just hope Hanie can pull an mini-Orton. The 2005, 8 game winning streak Orton, not the Orton that Denver somehow thought they could turn into a franchise QB. I remember fondly calling Orton the 'Best Hander-Offer In Football' that year as he racked up those wins. lol

It really is sad. When I looked at the Bears remaining schedule, I saw a doable 12-4 with the way Culter has been playing the last few games. Now I just hope we can get to 10-6 and have it be good enough for the wildcard.

    Oh, and...THE CHEESEHEADS SUCK!

That's like the Packer's back up Matt Flynn... and I'd say he's good enough to be a starter. No, the Bears can't have him lol

Aaron Rodgers was like a deer caught in the headlights the first couple years (after Favre)... I was not kind in my opinions of that part of his game, but knew he'd be fine... if he ever calmed down. Same with the Packer's passing game, they were ignoring short slants... for 5 yard gains... in favor of mid to long-range throws... and I was getting tired of that lol ...Now that he's settled down, and has a focused team, he's enjoying a record run.

Overall, I'm about as happy with the direction the team is going as I ever have been... and that's not just for the 10-0 season so far. I like what the players are saying in the locker-room... that the perfect-season isn't on their minds, only improvement of their individual play, and the team as a whole. And they need improvement, need that focus on improving, if they want to win.

Didn't Cutler play for a while with that? Like Favre used to? My brother liked Favre for his toughness... my response was that if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

I'll always pull for Orton Stu. He came in as a bona fide rookie and did EXACTLY what the coaches told him to and it paid off. They won games. He'll never be considered a great quarterback but he's decent.

Oh, I agree. He was great for the Bears that year in just not making mistakes and I have always liked the kid. I think the Bears really screwed him in 2006 when they brought Griese in as the back up and basically deactivated Orton for the entire year.

I think he still makes a better backup than a starter, though. ;)

Houston? They moved to Tennessee and became the Titans. Earl Campbell was a beast, though. ;)

The Hawks looked so bad I actually turned the game off. This rarely happens.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if Orton will be taking snaps for the rest of the season as a Bear.

11-0... and your team stinks... just calling it as I see it folks. :D

I was way off on the score. I had guessed a Packer win at 34-28... my brother guessed a Packer win at 35-27 (not knowing my guess)...we were both wayyy off lol But, it was a Packer win at 27-15. A win full of animosity and stupid behavior... like they were on Partisan Lines or something... Yeah, Partisan Linebackers!

Glad the Lions lost. Never happy when the Packers win. So a direct asteroid hit at mid field was about the only hope I had for that game. lol Looks like Suh is finally going to get his (probably first of many) suspension.

    12-0... ...in a nail-biter.

And I had a rare perfect guess on the score (38-35). I get it dead-on maybe once every other year or so. I also guessed it'd either come down to a field goal victory for the Packers in the final seconds of the game or that the Giants would score to make 35 (to the Packers 38), possibly from a two point conversion, with a minute or so left in the game... and they'd fail on an onside kick-return.

Ok, I gotta go scoop the driveway a bit more... I have a few more tons of snow to move.

That was probably their last real test of the season. They should run the table now at least until the playoffs. Unless Rogers go down. If that happens, they can rename themselves the Green Bay Colts. ;)
