Thanks bonedigger but we are talking to a person who thinks that Saudia Arabians are nice people because they smile at him in college. I don't think that he even knows that just about everyone involved in the 911 terrorist attack was from Saudia Arabia and that they were considered as good neighbors because they paid there rent on time and smiled as they went to train to kill. By the way I always had the same experience with arabs. They were cool intill they had some numbers. The only exception to this was the Druse tribesmen who I trusted to watch my back many years ago. Danr: I know all about the Industrial military complex and most likely knew about it before you were born. It has more to do with the absurd overpricing of military purchases from cutting edge jets to toilet bowl seats and giving generals who do the purchasing high price consultanting jobs after they leave the military. It has nothing to do with wars for it is not about quantity in a war machine for the bigger profit is actually in the stuff that maintains the army which includes screws and nuts and bolts for standing structures And anyone in the military, which most likely would not be any of your college professors, would tell you the cost of keeping a peace time army is very expensive in itself. Don't assume that what you learned in college today nobody knew yesterday. What I am concerned about is what misinformation that you are being taught in college today. Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world today and there are two main reasons. One they have large families which in times of famine we always feed or try to and Two they surpress and kill all the competition as they spread to new areas. This is not new. This has been going on since Muhammad. Don't believe me just look in your history books and ask yourself how did Turkey went from being a Christian area to Muslim, how did Egypt went from a Christian area to Muslim, How Pakistain went from being a Hindu area to Muslim, how did ....it goes on and on but that is why the sword of Jihad is in the Saudi flag to make sure it continues. Now if you want to discuss the dangers of viruses, start a new thread. I would be glad to discuss with you everything about viruses including the four mass extinctions on this planet and how viruses may have had something to do with at least one. But please do not detract from a subject that your life or way of life depends on.
Andy, I am pretty sure that Mormonism is the fastest growing religion. BTW Osama and his type LOVE the fact that we are going into big time debt over this terror thing. We are playing into their hands. These types do not hit that often look at the time lag between WTC bombings. Our response to 911 was way out of proportion, and if you think objectively about our response it was nothing short of surreal.
this is amazing. how many of you are christians, not just brougt up christan but are practicing christans? wishing the death of so many for the evil actions of a few.there are 2 kinds of people in this world the good and the bad. and depending on what side of a man made border you were born on will not make you one or the other. saying that you hate someone just because they were born in iraq or iran or anywhere is extremely ignorant. if you have to hate then why not just hate the wons that wish you harm and not their neighbors their relitives or anyone else who looks like them. we need to win the war in iraq and i dont think any intelligent person can argue that.but its what we do after that that will really decide the nobility of of the united states actions.(like helping the people of the sudan. if there is anyone that needs help its them.) p.s i have several friends in the military and would never bad mouth them or the military that they fight in.i wish them all a safe return home and the best of luck until that day
rambozo: Please read the koran. There is no turn the other cheek in there, quite the opposite. I feel most people are born to be good but what are we going to do when around a billion people are raised to believe that it is Allah's will to kill us. At the very least we should face the truth of the danger we are all in and try to do something about it while we can. However this should not include massive killing and I think that your friends in Iraq are doing the most to prevent a future all out nuclear and in the street war with trying to bring democracy into that nation. What the media doesn't broadcast thru that for it to work it needs to be a long hull, many generations for a little bit to sink in. That part of the world needs alternative thoughts. By the way rambozo, welcome to coin talk, I enjoy this forum and I hope that you stick around and view this place as I do, as your coin club. Right now I think we are in the basement part next to the boiler. DAnr: You must be joking about the Morman thing. Yes they are growing compared to the regular white christian population but that is about it when compared to the worlds non-christian/and non white christian population.
This may not be the most tolerant view nor the most socially acceptable thought. But having spent a few years over there (Saudi Arabia) I can offer some insight, albeit somewhat slanted. That whole good/bad Islamic Arab thought is useless. These radicals are hiding behind a religion/belief which is based upon eradication of a way of life by terror and established values just as many others have in the past. Let there be no question, it's bent on destruction and mayhem towards others who are non-muslim. The 'Thuggee's in India were quelled with force and this cancer on civilized society must be dealt with in the same manner. First and foremost I'm glad we're going after them over there instead of in the USA. Another strike against the US is virtually inevitable. Until then and we'll have to minimize the risk by keeping vigilant. The Islamic States of America are a reality and the threat is real. Bone
