And of course nothing at all was found. Key points are:

This from a guy who routinely uses an unsecured cell phone, had his charity shut down for fraud, has his kids in his administration using unsecured emails, refuses to cooperate with congressional investigations, hides meeting notes with foreign adversaries, hides his phone calls on a super secret server, and openly asks other countries to investigate his political rivals in defiance of Constitutional law. Yeah, this is the guy that should be calling for the Justice Department to investigate other people.

Sorry Joe. The old adage that two wrongs do not make a right certainly do apply here. A person doesn't white wash a server unless there is something they don't want to be found.... But frankly, I am sick to death of all the investigating being done at the expense of any real legislation.

Not sure what you mean but if old adages are in vogue, I'd go with, Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Total thread derail and I apologize. But that reminded me of one of the funniest stories of my professional career. And I believe humor is always appropriate. Even when it has absolutely nothing to do with the subject.

This goes back fifteen years. My business was still young. I had a wealthy former businessman that is a close friend come to address my two salespeople and give a rah-rah session. He gets all wound up and uses an old saying directed at my ultra modern sales lady and he tells her, sometimes you just have to fall on the sword. She stood up stunned and stormed out of the meeting. I was embarrassed for my friend and worried that I was about to lose my sales lady. When my friend left I approached her and asked what was wrong and seething she screams at me, I am not swallowing the sword for any man!” Well of course I straightened it out and laughter ensued. To this day I close our weekly sales meetings.... Now let’s get out there and swallow the sword!

    I’m sorry for the detail.

No,no...Good story and I always appreciate humor. I think it lightens some pretty heavy partisan debates nicely. :)

There was this Nigerian professor that spoke English pretty well but didn't always get the various American dialects very easily. One day a student asked him a question about Blackboard. Blackboard is a communication software package many institutions use. The professor thought that the student said something about "Black Boy" and got really angry at this poor kid and threw him out of the class. The kid was completely confused about the reason and so was everyone else in the room.

Sometimes communication is the real problem, not that we differ in any significant way from one another.

As far as it pertains to the comment I made previously in this thread..... I believe I had heard of factcheck.org before. This is the first time I have viewed the page. Are they a truly non-partisan outlet? If so, I think I'll spend more time gleaning my information from them..... Reading this, it all does seem innocuous enough. Much like me deleting dinner messages with my wife from my office system.... Mrs. Clinton has much of the same problem as Mr. Trump. She comes off as brazen and very unappealing and as a result, not very believable. It is difficult for a layman to feel comfortable receiving a message from a person with that sort of a brash demeanor. It is as though the person is being obstinate and in defense of something underfoot. And I fully include Mr. Trump in that assessment.

"On Sept. 7, government officials disclosed that 30 of the emails were related to Benghazi, but only one had been previously undisclosed and two others were “near duplicates” of emails that had already been publicly released."

    I want to read those.

I'm concerned about the lack of distinction on how emails might be deleted? Simply hit the trash button and it disappears from your view (but still is in the server) or the emails removed through physical destruction of necessary hardware or manipulation of software?
