Why take prisoners unless you want information. The US should have kill on sight policy for any terrorist and expand that to those who fund them. That would be the first step with winning the war. The next step is we should stop feeding them and their families of 12+.
Ok Isa, Here we go kind of in agreement. First paragraph. NO. Simply because they don't wear "I'm a terrrorist buttons". Feeding enemies? Now that's a different story. I've been pushing that point since before the Cold War "ended". It's brutal and would affect millions of innocents but stop feeding countries you have a problem with and eventually they'll come around. Or starve.
No, we should actually have a kill, then torture information policy with these slimes. Try their carcasses in a kangaroo court and sentence them to live in New Zealand.
I quite agree. Personally, I would give aid to very few countries. There are plenty of other countries in the world. If they want to do it, let them do it. But, I would not have us doing it.
I agree also, with the funding part. We dump huge amounts into Pakistan only to have them strongly object to anything we do to strike at extremists in the part of their country they refuse to control...Pakistan is filled with extremists and we have given them billions, we have given them so much money their economy boomed. If you look at the huge list of countries we give money to, most are opposed to us in general in the UN and on most matters. I also agree we need to cut off relations with any and all nations that want a free lunch with no strings attached. That would save us tax dollars and though I dont like the idea of starving people, I have a hard time when the world looks at the US instead of their own government because they simply know their own corrupt awful government cant and wont help them. Its dangerous to have a well fed and educated populous, there is less ignorant anger they can use that way. I care less about making it safe for christians as much as making it safe for peacefull moderates...I am no christian but it wont matter to an extremist as I am western...and to some in the west, if you are middle eastern or muslim, you are simply the enemy...I would want to see all good people out of harms way. Like in Burma...I saw someone ask, when we were a half second late to come to the rescue 'where is the US?'...they dont ask...where is our government...thats a stupid question, their government doesnt give a rats ass about them. But then there is China

Isa is upset for terrorist wiped out his mountain village in Lebanon and those same terrorist 's leader later got a nobel peace prize and tons of money from the UN, Europe and the US instead of a world court apperance for genocide. Those same terrorists today are being feed and armed by the western world and the person who said that those terrorist would kill him for he is a westernized muslim is also right. I am just waiting for someone to say hamas is to have its own nation in the gaza and the PLO is to have its own nation in what the west calls the west bank and then Israel will never be able to defend itself.
During the earthquake China responded as appropriately as possible during the situation, they said along the lines of "we can do it, but if you can help that would be nice too". Actually Chinese government officials were right on scene immediately afterwards which was a first in that country, also the media was there, and unfettered by the government. Not a huge step, but a small step forward in that country. But think back to Hurricane Katrina when immediately afterwards the USA refused offers of aid from the EU, Russia etcetera and only reluctantly accepted the aid weeks later. Pure arrogance on the part of "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job" and Brownies boss in the executive mansion.
My comment about China was more about the fact that, unlike most situations, THEY are funding the US...then we take that money and pass it out to every other nation in the world...its not like we even have the money we give to these nations... I am not on a crusade against muslims, the thought that people see this as the muslims extremists do, a holy war is extremely frightening, so I dont care what they do as long as it stays in their own countries... When I say cut them off, I mean coral them in and leave...If Yemen cant control its citizens, then pull out of there until they can and until we see that in every possibly way they are looking to right the wrongs...we have plenty of friendly nations where we can exist without being attacked...believe it or not Sorry, not frightened of islam, never will be...Like anyone I want extremists of all types put down...thats about all....I just know so many good muslim people that I cant see it other than bad government and bad people with bad agendas that have little to do with religion which has always been used by some, it is being used as a tool, an excuse....
Yep, I can think of quite a few religions that have fanatics that need to be put down. One curious feature of religion is you notice a lot of the mainstream religions in Asia, notably China and Japan would not be amongst them. Over there it seems like they are pretty much mind your own business. I don't like any extremists, notably here in the USA we have quite a few too. That church that Aidan Work liked that was protesting at US soldier funerals is one prime example of an accident that should happen.
