I recently came back from Europe on business and I want to assure Americans who keep hearing that America is filled with fat people...rest your minds...its probably true we have our fair share of chubbies but as I walked through Norway and Germany...good lord there are some fat people in Europe and Britian...and dont ever let them tell you a huge portion in a resturant is American...its all over...I dont think I ate a single meal I could finish there and portions, in Britian, Norway, Germany and Italy were far more than a skinny guy can eat.

I'll have to check this out when I am there soon. Frankly everytime I saw a "size challenged":D(how's that for politically correct?) person in Europe they either had an American or British accent.

Norway especially have quite a few native overweight...same with Germany and big bellies...and I spent about a month in Stavanger and probably didnt finish a single full portion served me there as they were so large.

Well obesity rates rose all over the world, but with the future downturn of all our economies, luxuries like a big gut and butt are going to be passe. :)

On the other hand, the skinny people will starve to death first. :D

Yep, instead of survival of the fittest, it will be survival of the fattest.

Norway, Denmark , Scandanavia in general, imports more American hotsauce than all of Europe.

    What the heck does.........

In general, those with a capsaicin rich diet GENERALLY live healthier lifestyles than those do with out. Capsaicin ( cap-SAY-eh-sin...the active compound in peppers )reduces the cancer risk in men, and assists the thyroid in burning calories. Basically, it just speeds the metabolism. Peppers also have more vitamin C than citrus fruits.

I digress. I can talk about the health benifits of hotsauce forever.

My guess would be those in Scandanavia would be fitter, and less prone to obesity in general due to diet. Guess not.

I bit the bullet Steve and bought a 20 gallon drum of Red Jalapeno mash, it is kind of hard to get in full ripe red, most all Jap mash comes green

I am starting a new sauce thing AS A HOBBY again, and my first run will be 80 cases of " Full Red Gem ", a Jalapeno/Cayenne sauce, vinegar based and will feature 4 Lincoln Cents as the labels, all from my collection !!!!

2 years out of the sauce biz and I am starting to miss it.
