lol... I'm saying that, even with a perfect president, there's not much he/she can do. Congress is where the real power is, and since it creates the rules that governs itself, they decide what changes. They have the power now, thanks to themselves, and I doubt they'll give it up for the betterment of society... not without a major overhaul of the system itself... and that is highly unlikely. That said, I'd want my sushi cooked. Would that be enough to get me jailed in Taiwan? ...Just wondering...
We aren't a very smart people any more. We're mostly beer drinking, American Idol watching, dimwits who, again, ain't real bright.
I think you CAN fry sushi... I'm just wondering if it's frowned upon... or could get you jailed in Taiwan... "You fry sushi!"
In Malaysia the gun laws are so strict that Thai armed forces, even in hot pursuit of communists or terrorists or criminals, won't cross over the border. They'd get hanged for their rifles.
I'm fairly sure he got sued for defamation by the restaruant and couldn't prove the event adequetly enough and also wouldn't settle that's why he ended up in jail. Taiwan's justice system is far from perfect , with the judges and prosecutors usually vastly overworked and some really out of touch with the average citizens. thus leading to some nutty decisions, but as a whole such things are far from normal .
