Well, at least these Tea Party people understand fiscal responsibility and have strong family values....Right!

Joe Walsh owes more than $100,000 in child support to his ex-wife and three children.

    | Insert example of democrat caught being a hypocrite that justifies Walsh's hypocrisy here rather than admit to Walsh's bad behavior.

I think its a civil matter. I dont think one brings that allegation to court without some proof. Be honest, if it was a domocrat, you'd be salivating. Moen would be the one saying what you said. But if you read the article, he is a classic ''deadbeat'' Dad. 100,000 40,000, whats the difference really? Even his lawyer says he doesnt owe ''that much''. Indicating he owes something.

Would that be like all the right has salivated about David Wu? I mean everyone of us has posted all kinds of crap about him, right?

Read it? "Laura Walsh is a non-practicing attorney who works for the pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly." i.e. I sincerely doubt that her salary is less than 6 figures. "In 2010, he was paid $21,000 by the United Republican Fund of Illinois. He also has worked as a teacher and an administrator of education trust funds." Were the sexes reversed, my guess is that she would be paying him spousal support.

The point of posting this story wasn't to salivate over yet another Right-wing hypocrite. The point was that this guys has said some pretty over the top things about Obama's fiscal policies and he really is in no position to criticize anyone over fiscal responsibility given his own financial situation. I think what drove his ex-wife to take him to court was that he used $25,000 of his own money to finance his campaign rather than pay his child support. I'd be pissed too if I were in his wife's situation supporting their three kids. And Craig is absolutely right, this isn't a matter of guilt or innocence. He isn't paying his obligations under the terms of the divorce. I'd still like to know the reasons for the divorce.

"The point of posting this story wasn't to salivate over yet another Right-wing hypocrite." Really? "He isn't paying his obligations under the terms of the divorce." But you just said he was guilty before he has even been tried. You have convicted him solely because of his political beliefs, right?

Let's just say that the party of family values, defense of marriage, and traditional conservative leanings is always a good place to find the most interesting hypocrites. Just don't know if he is a wife beater, cheater, or some other kind of scumbag. I like to keep my scumbags organized.

There is no trial. How can he be either guilty or innocent? He either owes some amount or his ex-wife is making the whole thing up. He sounds like a deadbeat dad to me and it is extra funny because he is such a loudmouth. But keep defending him. I'm sure he is worth your time and effort.

So you now have an LLB in the state of Illinois? (BTW, his wife does and I and sure she knows how to twist the legal system to her favor.) "He sounds like a deadbeat dad to me." Yep! He is on the right. Therefore he is guilty in your eyes. I get that loud and clear.

Incidentally, I am not "defending" the man. I am actually defending the Bill of Rights (which you seem to be ignoring). Oh! And there are lots of grounds between he owes $117,437 to she is "making the whole thing up. That is the purpose of the trial (hearing, if you prefer that word) that will likely occur.

The the sexes wrent reversed. This is the decree. He was ordered to pay child support. Good or bad. Are you saying because she makes more money he shouldnt care for his children? Or be responsible in anyway? And I did say that Moen just posts these things because of his politics. That doesnt excuse the guy for being a deadbeat.

Why would you like to know the reason for the divorce? Who are you to know that? Mind your own business. Unless of course you want to tell us all about your marriage. And I mean everything. scratch that. I dont want to know. And you shouldnt want to know about someone's persoanl life. Thats weird.

The guys lawyer said he owes back child support...just not as much as his ex-wife claims. Wouldnt that make he guilty of not making the payments the divorce court ordered? Just added this. So you are on the right? Just just a Republican, but on the right. So anything the democrats or the left do or say, youre against it? Just wondering?

You mean like Obama admitted to smoking dope and doing other illegal drugs. Therefore he is a criminal? But criminals cannot be president. OOO! Got a problem there, don't we.

Walsh is now claiming that this whole incident is just a smear campaign. That is the same thing he said about the numerous problems he had during his campaign here in Northeastern Illinois. Problems such as:

The congressman's alleged financial problems made headlines while he was campaigning last year, when former campaign field director Richard Cape claimed he would "spend, spend, spend uncontrollably." His campaign manager quit and sued for $20,000 in nonpayment, and two other staffers who quit accused him of not properly disclosing a 2008 home foreclosure and traffic citations to the public, taking their grievances public. Walsh also bounced checks, including one to a Republican fundraiser.

Everytime this guy trips over his own ass, it seems to be the fault of those just trying to smear him. Let's see if we can list problems that of course aren't his fault but the result of those people that just want to smear him:

    • Child support deadbeat
    • His campaign field director quiting and suing for nonpayment accusing him of uncontrollable spending habits
    • A home foreclosure kept secret
    • Traffic citations
    • Bounced checks

Does this guy sound like the person to be lecturing anyone on fiscal issues?

Youre going off the deep end. I dont think Obama should be President. But not because he smoked pot. ITS A CIVIL MATTER. I didnt say he was a criminal. (I could go on about some crap like..show me where I said he is a criminal. Show me. Show me. Still waiting. Still waiting. Blah blah ....) all I said was he lawyer agreed that he owed child support. That is a dead beat Dad. Get a grip. Are you dating this guy or something? By the way I didnt have a problem with a cokehead being President either.

Oh! My! I am now sure he is a right winger because you keep pounding on him. But then how about Geithner not paying $35,000 in self-employment taxes for the years 2001–2004. And they made him Secretary of the Treasury. Funny how I did not hear much about home from you. I guess that means he is a left winger. Now we could go tit for tat until the cows come home, but all that is going to prove is that there are a bunch of idiots out there. One minor difference here - most of the others have been convicted or admitted to it.

You love to convict people without a trial, right? BO admitted to a felony with witnesses. It was not just pot. That is considerably more proof than you have that Joe Walsh has not paid his child support, but you have already convicted Joe ("That is a dead beat Dad.") Please tell me why BO is not guiltier?
