Personally, and I am sure most disagree, I wasn't in favor of withdrawing from Afghanistan or Iraq for that matter. Just thought flanking Iran on 2 sides was a good strategic position.

I don't consider Trump the Almighty, but Pinhead Jobie and his cronies did exactly what Trump said he would not do . . . They gave the Taliban a timeline with which to plot their response and, in so doing, they stupidly poisoned their own plan . . . Completely idiotic . . . like rewarding Iran for kidnapping Americans, and short-sightedly inviting the wholesale invasion across our southern border by prospective liberal voters . . . ultimately, this will deplete our national resources.

There are smart people in all walks of life. That you liberals elevate the smart ones lacking common sense ill-serves this nation.

 

The plan was to get out yet keep our airbase manned as a force in the region to give us quick response time if needed. The towel heads are not dumb and are excellent fighters. Nevertheless, while Trump was POTUS they were under control.
