But by all means, let's ban drag queens at story time

This is a good question with a very EASY ANSWER for some of us. I should think that you know the answer if you are not an atheist. So out of respect for you and your knowledge; I'm going to give you some time to answer your own question. Remember, the choice is a very easy one.

Change your "100 fertilized embryos" to "100 babies" (which is exactly what is in the wombs) and then present the scenario again.

Hint: Both factors being equal, the death of the lesser amount is preferable.

Pull the lever, hit the test tubes with embryos. I highly doubt the others here wouldn't do the same.

I am an atheist, but I'm not sure what that has to do with this. Unless this is your way of admitting abortion measures are rooted in Christian beliefs being pushed on us.

The real life version of this would be depicted as choice of three pregnant women and a baby.

 What you call Christian Beliefs, I call it making sure a species survives.

:( I gave you a lot more credit than the PU girlie man genius I put on ignore forever :D:p because of his monkey business. I keep his ignorant ilk buddy around for my amusement as he dodges, ducks, shucks, and dances to the organ grinder's music. While you often ignore direct questions like the rest of the characters, you did answer this time. Quite a grown-up improvement on your part, so you deserve the same respect.

The fact that you are an atheist has a great deal to do with your answer and the assumption that others would agree. If you actually believed that you were created by a "Power" you could not understand, you would know immediately that the answer to your question would be to BLOW THE STREETCAR TO SMITHERINES; thus not murdering anything except the baby/embryo-killing  liberal atheist monkey driving it! ;) Good Riddance!

Why? It's purposefully set up as test tubes. It's entirely possible to have fertilized embryos outside of the body. In fact, the destruction of them is why many religious people are opposed to IVF.

So no, the real life scenario is exactly as depicted

The test tube depiction is a means of dehumanization. It makes leftists feel better about their support of abortion on demand, partial birth abortion, and in the case of the previous VA governor and Kermit Gosnel post birth abortion. Leftists are actually good at creating narratives that low information and suburban soccer parent types will think is a good argument.

I don't believe it is a human, so dehumanization is correct. If that's dehumanizing, I assume you have no issue with IVF?

If you insist, we can imagine a ghost train that will kill either a 3 month old baby or cause 100 1 week pregnant women to miscarriage. I still pull the lever

Not surprising. You would kill 100 women, they wouldn’t just have a miscarriage. This is the narrative of the left when they address their low information/ low intellect voter base, “If it just saves one child “.

I quite clearly specified a ghost train with mystical powers hahaha. Point is, don't try to obfuscate the thought experiment, it's hypothetical and ridiculous on purpose.

Well if it’s a ghost train with mystical powers, then it can just turn to mist before it strikes any of them. Problem solved.

 Aren't we full of ourselves. Sonny, what you do or don't believe does not matter. It does not alter anything. The only thing ANYTHING anyone believes does is indicate a great deal about them. :D;)

After just a short time on this forum, I  learned all I needed to know :( about you and your ilk.

Miscarriages do. And who is responsible for those? Gawwwwd!

    P.S. Embryos aren't kids.

TOTTALY IGNORANT POST WARNING from a non-engaging atheist member who refused to answer direct questions.

This  ignorant member thinks miscarriages kill more developing humans than abortion!

This is far past ignorance. This statement and the lack of education behind it is
    just plain sad. Gawwwwd! :(

Hey Chin Chin, when does life begin? Does an atheist have a soul? What is an oath?

Oh, here we go . . . so children having a sexual identity crisis must be transgender, but embryos must not be kids . . .

Next time you see a pregnant woman, ask her if she's having an embryo or if she's having a baby.
