That people have become so politically polarized that the very thought of supporting each other so that we all rise higher is a now a foreign thought. I believe the Marines coined it best as “esprit de corps”…… I know we have always had political differences. It is part of the American heritage. But never to such a self serving and destructive end. I wonder how many young people could tell me anything about who Benjamin Franklin or Andrew Jackson is other than old faces that adorn their cash. Just today I had a flag and flagpole representative come in my office and like most factory agents he brought in a bag of goodies. I didn’t know him and he didn’t know me and he was very sheepish about the bag of goodies. I never mentioned it but after we talked a bit and he became comfortable with me he finally asked me if he could hand out his company’s hats to my staff and I told him, “of course”….. He was nervous about it because his company hats were American flag hats and he didn’t want to “offend” anyone….. I told him straight up that if an American flag hat offended any of my employees, they are no longer my employee. How did we get here?
The pursuit of power over others . . . suppressing the liberties of the majority while pretending to promote the liberties of the minority. These elitists don't truly advocate for the minorities . . . they use them as tools to grab even more power over even more of the populace.
If anyone is offended by the American flag, they can kiss my ass. Family members of mine fought on American soil and foreign soil for that flag. I pledge allegiance to it. I proudly display it on a flagpole in front of my home. Commies, socialists and liberals in this country don't understand the meaning of the flag and for that, I feel sorry for them.
Its the same crowd that wanted Confederate Heros like Lee, Hood, Forrest, Jackson etc. statutes, names removed under Biden. At least they could not get rid of the Stoney Mountain Memorial Now Sherman on the Union side was a war criminal.
