What do you mean by "Second Amendment Solution"? Please explain how a person's right to bear arms has anything to do with someone like this killing other people.

This shooter like the shooter at Virgina Tech was a Korean National.
So what is your point.
The korean national shooter at Virginia Tech had a history of mental problems but because of Federal Privacy Laws those mental issues would not come up in a gun check.
Would not be surprised if this shooter also had mental problems but then we might never hear about it due to Federal Privacy Laws.
Who pushed those privacy laws anyway that bar information from coming up in a background check when applying for a gun.

I think the phrase, "Second Amendment Solutions" is perfect. Well said Tak!
If you have any kind of problem let's say with your school, a kid walking around your neighborhood in a hoody, or just some annoying family member, the Constitution provides the answer to your problem. You have the right to take out a gun and blow your problem away. What could be more simple?
I'm sure that is exactly what the framers of the Constitution were thinking when they included the Second Amendment in the Constitution. I'm sure that the right to bear arms was intended to solve all your problems with the pull of a trigger. They must be so proud of what the RW in this country has turned their intent to preserve the freedoms they set in motion by making people afraid to walk out their front door. On the bright side, gun makers are making a fortune. Yeaaaaaaa entrepreneurialism!!

 

I believe the accepted terminology is "Second Amendment remedy," which refers to a theoretical resistance to un-constitutional government policies, as bruited by such asinine luminaries as Sharron Angle. How this relates to shoot-em-up assholes taking vengeance for some perceived personal grievance, I'm not quite sure.

Not really relevant to this thread, I guess, but there was a good article written just recently and posted on AddictingInfo.org which examines the issue of "Second Amendment remedies."

Some one cuts you off on the freeway? Just reach under your seat for your Second Amendment Solution. You don't like the look of some guy walking through your neighborhood? Then get your militia on. You're packing a Second Amendment Solution. Someone pisses you off in a bar? Your trusty Second Amendment Solution will shut 'em up. The world scares the crap out of you? Fear not. Get yourself a Second Amendment Solution and all will be well.
