For the second day in a row, President Donald Trump pushed the theory that health care workers were responsible for a shortage of protective masks during the coronavirus pandemic.

I know these snippets of what Trump says typically sound repulsive until the entire context is heard. And fact is, the man is brash which is something I don't care for myself. But I had to work yesterday and missed his daily briefing. Is there possibly a larger context to this statement?

More importantly, how is your son holding up?

Thanks for asking. He found out that he had a second possible exposure and his quarantine was extended.

He, like other health care professionals, are under tremendous pressure and in real danger every day. It really doesn't help to have the president suggest twice that these health care people are selling PPE out the back door of these health care facilities. That is really kicking these front line heroes in the teeth. It is just unbelievable to hear any adult say such a heinous thing.

There is no defense for a comment like that much less a comment like that said two days in a row.

Here is the context. It happens at 25 seconds in.

He never states explicitly that it's health care workers that are responsible for anything, only that it seems odd and someone should look into it. Three weeks ago the states own Governor was raising the same concerns:

I have to say, Trump is a very patient man. I wouldn't be able to listen to these piss in their pants hair on fire reporters daily without putting them in their place a hell of a lot more than he does.

Trump never says anything explicitly. He talks like an organized crime boss, but in this case, he does explicitly say, "Are they going out the back door".

You can make all the excuses you want to for this pathetic low-life, you'll have to own that proudly. The fact is Trump-Humpers remind me of poorly trained dogs that run to the door when guests show up and try to hump their legs.

Neither of these two instances are mutually exclusive. I could have actually spent the last 1,166 days detailing what Trump actually did and said AND they could actually be true in all 1,166 instances. It isn't an either/or type of paradigm.

I have figured out who @JoeNation is behind the screen name................John Cusack. Of course, he could also be Alec Baldwin, Rob Reiner, Cher, Rosie.........................

If you are Alec Baldwin it is. He's mentally ill. Did you hear the phone call he had with his 12 year old daughter? It was disgusting.

Oddly enough, his brother is sane. You won't like his views, Fryday

I had a perfectly good reason for that father/daughter moment. Have you never lost your temper with your hormone drenched daughter? Did your daughter, knowing that she was already in trouble, then record the conversation and post it online for the entire world to hear? Mine did. I did apologize.

"I'm sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child," "I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.) I am sorry for what happened."

So, that’s what it takes to get you to backpedal when you know you’re wrong . . . Our only problem is that your daughter is not privy to what you write here.

    This isn't your party Joe . . . it's ours.

Oh, and as concerns translation, no one's ever been able to make sense of what you put out there.

If Alec Baldwin were a conservative, Joe would be calling him a dangerous, out of control individual who should be institutionalized. But since Baldwin mouths a lot of socialist crap, Joe considers him to be a member of party who must be defended. Baldwin’s violent outbursts have been in the news for years. The man is mentally ill.

That is one big difference between us, Joe. When a far right jack ass, like that preacher in Florida holds two church services in defiance of the coronavirus guidelines, I call him out on it. If a “comrade” does something equally stupid, Joe will ignore it or defend him.
