    Has anyone else heard this?

    http://www.forbes.com/sites/abrambr...-tea-party-were-sorry-we-targeted-your-taxes/

Now, the IRS targets a right organization while we have the most left wing and most partisan president ever. Could this possible be just weird circumstances?

I wouldn't even consider the Tea Party as a "right wing" group. Most die hard conservatives I know get pretty upset when they put the teabaggers into their leaning. I think they're more a braindead extremist group than a real political group. So maybe the government does need to keep closer tabs on people like this.

I guess that puts you to the left of Obama. "White House spokesman Jay Carney declared it was indeed inappropriate for the IRS to target tea party groups." Most left-wing people I know consider Obama more a brain dead extremist group than a real politician. Guess where that puts you.

I'm not Obama, and Obama isn't a group. Neither am I "left". But, if you want to place the Tea Party with the right, it's your loss. Maybe thats why they're losing ground- and support from their constituents at a record rate. I suppose thats Obama's fault, being the commie, socialist, muslim fascist that he is.

I don't see this as unual. Criminal activity if often tracked through financial records. It wouldn't matter if the Tea Party were a "political group" or a drug cartel, collecting financial data is part of law enforcement. Now the real question is... What were they monitoring in this incredibly fertile nest of the extemists wing nuts, AND some relatively well-intentioned chapters, at least in some cases. Not many.

The procedures and information demanded by the IRS were almost impossible for the organizations to comply with. Obviously there was a motive by the IRS to discourage these groups from achieving their goal of fully and legally operate.

The IRS has apologized. That's not going to satisfy. They focused their scrutiny on new filers seeking status with names that included the words "Tea" "Patriots" "Heritage" and the like. Just for perspective , the articles of impeachment against RMN included Article II - 1)

I am glad to know what Guy and Teddy think of the Constitution. Maybe someday they will learn it was designed to protect all people and not just their side.

And it continues moving up the chain of command and up the calendar. Round and round she goes. Where it stops, no one knows!

Lois Lerner, the head of the IRS division that oversees tax-exempt groups said, "That was wrong. That was absolutely incorrect, it was insensitive and it was inappropriate."

Yet, some here on the Left see nothing unusual. Take your liberal blinders off, Lefties.

Last time I checked, the IRS was not the Obama Administration. I'll get back to you when I find out that they are the same thing...

So you think Geithner and Lew are not part of the administration? I guess that is you gofer education. And to top that off, I am surprised to learn that that you think they have nothing to do with Obamacare.

    According to your article....

Sometimes the IRS asked groups to provide a list of donors, Lois Lerner, who leads the IRS division managing tax-exempt groups, told the AP this morning at a law conference. Lerner said the practice began by low-level workers in Cincinnati but wasn’t approved by any top executives.

So how does this rise all the way up to the Obama Administration as you suggest? You simply want it to so you start throwing around innuendo, accusations, and of course administration names. How McCarthyist of you.

Thats all it is for you guys is left and right isn't it. Brilliant. Guess it makes voting and policy as simple as black and white for you...no thought involved whatsoever. Well, once again, I'm neither. Hard for you to believe, I know.

As far as constitutional equality on taxation goes, the right is the last place I'd expect to hear grumbling as their stance is anything but equality in taxation. Need proof? Just look around. I have company reports just from my employer where I can see they pay less than 1/3 of the percentage of their income to tax than I do. Is that equality. Bark up another tree because your arguments are loosing ground on yet another one here.

Oh, my, oh, my!! Aren't we touchy today. I merely asked, " Could this possible be just weird circumstances?" And you call that innuendo and accusations? Yet somehow I remember another someone say straight out that Zimmerman was guilty (not even a question about it), that Nakoula was responsible for Benghazi, that the right-wing was responsible for Boston, and on and on. Someday you might actually learn that our laws actually do apply EQUALLY to both side.

There's more: Names of donor lists which were demanded by the IRS were given out to Liberal groups. The obvious purpose of doing that is those liberal groups can use the information to coerce those donors and also future donors into not donating to convservative causes.

Also some of the conservative groups simply gave up organizing because of the costs involved, with attorneys, CPA accountants, political advisors, etc.

Giving out information in tax returns is illegal in itself. But of course we know that Romney's information was made public.

This is exactly what Richard M. Nixon was charged with doing.

I love the "we're not saying anything but....." BS. They want so badly to see the Obama Aministration implicated once again. Calling it "Obama politics" and naming Aminstration appointees as if they have been part of this low level incident from the start. You Right-wing freaks never get tired of your endless conspircy theories. You just move from one to another. You can't win with voter suppression and Southern strategies, you can't win with your string of feckless candidates, you can't win on the issues, and you certainly can't win by smearing the other side with imaginary scandal after imaginary scandal. The Obama Administration by any objective measure has been the least scandal ridden Administration in a long time. Look it up losers. You just have to remember that all of your false conspiracies do not count as actual scandals.

Who told me what exactly? The "lists" detail was on Chris Wallace's Fox News Sunday this AM, and the statement was made by one of the pols (the republican of course) and the Dem appearing alongside him did not deny it.

All of that is so damn funny and "kool-aide" that it doesn't deserve a serious rebuttle.

We shall see when the Inspector General is finished.

Look at the name of this thread and tell me that.

Why bother waiting? I'd be happy to let this play out but your FOX so called news will play the Obama conspiracy theory non-stop 24/7.
