If I'm distancing myself from Trump, it's only because I'm also distancing myself further from Biden by moving more to the Right.
After Trump, the Republican Party May Become More Extreme he numbers give Joe Biden ample reason for confidence about the election. Only 42 percent of voters, according to polling averages published by FiveThirtyEight and RealClearPolitics, currently support the Republican incumbent’s reelection. When asked, “Do you approve or disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president?”—the wording used by many polling organizations—only about 43 percent of Americans say they approve. Although only about 2 percent of voters are still undecided, Trump stands before a nearly insurmountable wall. America has never had a president whose disapproval rating, since the first month of his presidency, has been higher than his approval rating. Two weeks before the election, more than 50 percent of voters think he is doing a bad job and plan to vote for his opponent. Many already have. As a Democratic pollster, I am delighted by all the evidence that most of the country will reject Trump, his racism, his values, his policies, and his vision for America. David Frum: The final season of the Trump show Even so, 43 percent of Americans approve of how Trump is doing. Consider the implications for both parties and the nation. These voters approve after 215,000 people have died from the coronavirus; after 25 million ended up on unemployment insurance; after The New York Times found that Trump had paid only $750 in taxes in his first year as president and owes hundreds of millions of dollars to his creditors; after The Atlantic reported that he called American soldiers who died in battle “suckers” and “losers.” https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/a...eave-behind-harsh-political-landscape/616771/
No surprise there . . . After all, the Democratic Party’s already driven off the cliff, and every action produces an equal and opposite reaction. You’d think they’d anticipate this, but they’re so busy living in the moment they’ll just never see the future.
Because supporting white supremacists and wackos like QAnon is so mainstream America. I guess we know who is in their ranks now. Little Mikey looks to be just another run of the mill white supremacist. How shocking. Not really.
@FryDaddyJr might that he will get go on welfare after Biden wins. Biden will tax the mega-rich and the big corporations and all of “the little people” will lots of stuff for nothing. That’s what his ads are telling us in Florida. “The little people” will get a $15,000 tax credit on the purchase of their first home, $7,000 for child care, thousands dollars in higher wages and $1,300 a year in higher Social Security payments for seniors. Biden “guarantees” all of this. What you will get will be a major recession or depression because he will be raising taxes on an already fragile economy. The stock markets will also tank because the threat of higher taxes will force a big sell-off before Biden’s higher capital gains taxes take effect. That means that everyone’s 401ks will take a beating. But @FryDaddyJr will ecstatic because the communist country that he has dreamed of since elementary school will be a reality.
In essence, what Biden would guarantee is a loss of investor confidence in the USD, and a mass exodus from our already precariously supported currency. That will cause a precipitous drop in its value, more than offsetting the increase in benefits he promises, but that economic logic is heavy lifting for liberals . . . especially so-called liberal "economists" like AOC . . . so they simply ignore it.
You ARE delusional! Eight years of malaise is more like it. In fact, it was little more than Bide'n Time !!! HAHAHAHAHA
What a pair of morons Billy and Mikey are. They have to be two of the dumbest posters in this forum. They simply spew shit and expect everyone else to drink the same Kool-Aid they guzzle endlessly. What a pair of lunatics.
So, instead of addressing Joe's inept past, you'd rather discuss the results of an election that hasn't yet taken place? Distraction to an excess, but not unexpected. Try this on for size . . . Suppose no one ever successfully develops a vaccine which suppresses COVID19. I certainly don't want to be wearing a mask three years down the road, but I know it's possible. Suppose then that all of the food, drink, medication, disinfectant, masks, fuel and whatever else run out because democrats want everyone to stay home from work in their Covid cocoons. How long do you think it would be before people begin dying from hunger, sickness and hypothermia? It sure seems far-fetched right now, but you must admit it is a possibility. The burn rate for consumables in this wasteful nation is unimaginably high. I doubt anyone has ever tried to predict how far out depletion is from the end of production in different industries. Just how close must one get to exhaustion of those critical resources before it's too late to fend off more deaths from a lack of those resources than COVID has caused? It is the wisdom of this perspective that is entirely lost upon you liberals, not because of your incapacity to envision it, but because your focus is on something far less important. I'm not beating the band for Trump, but I am defending the guy when people blindly criticize him without considering his perspective. Back to Joe. The guy's likeable, and that's all he has to offer. Sorry, I forgot . . . and free everything.
