Don't worry. In another week, we'll never hear this fairytale again. It will have served it's only purpose which is a smear job and nothing more. The odd thing is, I can't even figure out what they are claiming happened and if it did happen, how is it any different than what Trump and his family of grifters have done continuously of the last four years? I admire Biden for not dragging Trump's kids through the mud in some ways but I also feel that they richly deserve to be jailed right along side of daddy. Remember, the Trump family was disallowed from operating any charity in the State of New York because they stole from a kids cancer charity.

I agree, and I wasn’t very optimistic anything would come of the emails . . . Until Mr. Bobulinski entered the scene. That development changes absolutely everything. Everything, that is, unless the DNC can figure out a way to disappear the guy. Maybe Hillary & Bill will be called on for advice in that regard.

I hear you, but I think you're gonna be disappointed in the future dem presidents. Trump has basically set the standard by having a scandal a day.

Plus, isn't what Joe supposedly did here just the light version of what Trump got impeached for?

Perhaps because the Republicans don't chase every random assertion as a criminal event? Frankly, I am sick of hearing about all of them. If I chased everyone in my organization because he/she said whatever..... I wouldn't be a very productive company. And I am absolutely sick to death of these highly paid lawmakers chasing the wind on my dime.

Are you kidding? Republicans invented chasing every random assertion as a criminal event. The most criminal indictments in history from a guy that wasn't remotely honest going in isn't a surprise. What is a surprise is that there are actually people that think he suddenly because some kind of saint in spite of the mountain of proof to the contrary. Trump is the same POS he has always been. It's his supporters that have gone off a cliff. Where the hell does that kind of delusional devotion come from? Geesh!

Not kidding at all. Just showing how two people can use the same information to arrive at two separate conclusions. I am no fan of the man. And I am sick to death of hearing policy makers grumbling about what they will block, investigate, hornswaggle and anything else they can do to close our government up tighter than a a Boy Scout knot..... I didn't like it when Bill Clinton was tied up for months on end. I don't like it now. We used to be a nation of accomplishers. We are now a nation of finger pointers and it makes me wretch.

No, Trump didn't get impeached for doing anything wrong. He got impeached because liberals didn't like him . . . nothing more.

At least Trump drives between the lines, bouncing off them occasionally . . . Biden pretends they don't exist.

Probably not worth going into fully here, but man, we live in totally different realities when it comes to the impeachment. I guess I wasn't around here when that was going on.

I forgot the obstruction piece, but he was not convincingly accused of coercion of any foreign governments in getting him elected.

As long as you guys like a good fairytale anyway, here is another one. Only this one hits a little too close to home. OUCH!

Since we are playing imaginary games..... Go back in your mind to when you were thirteen in middle school. Election coming up and your teacher has you paying attention to what the candidates have to say because you will be quizzed on Friday. You are bored to tears but need to ace the quiz so you pay attention. About middle of the week it occurs to you. Your dad brings home his paycheck by working in an oil refinery. Are you now worried? Of course you are. Dad promised you a new ball glove soon as Covid is over.... This is the reality that most live in these days.

Yeah, that’s a contrived fantasy story. Much like yours. But you have to realize something. Far more people in this nation get paid for producing something. They don’t have the comfort of knowing the government will send their paycheck regardless of what happens. They get up each and every day knowing they must produce to earn the money that feeds their family. These last two weeks I have heard Biden flop his petroleum stance three times. I am now convinced that he has little or no fortitude of character. If he has to wreck thousands of family’s lives to appease a voting block, he will do it without recompense.

I do not care for Trump. I wouldn’t take my wallet out of my pocket in the same room as the man. But the man did produce an economy that did give a damn about the working man. And for three years that economy thrived. So go ahead and throw all the filth you can throw his way. He may win, he may lose. We will know in a week. At least I know what I get with him.

    Did he though?

Economists have been trying to dispel the myth Trump and right wing media portray that he built, well, anything. Here's a Business Insider article that graphically compares Bush, Obama, and Trump economic measures:

    https://www.businessinsider.com/cha...administrations-republicans-democrats-2020-10

The gist I get from it is that Trump largely just let Obama's economic policies continue. The growth we've seen since the 2008 recession has been super stable in many sectors, they exclude covid related downturns of course.

I have no problem handing Obama the credit. The Dow broke records early this year. That was under Trumps watch. In fact, the Dow responded favorably almost immediately after Trump was confirmed as the winner in 2016. And when the Dow is growing, so are all of us regular working Joe’s. I don’t care who you want to give credit to. It’s like the Super Bowl winning quarterback from three years ago. It doesn’t matter who he is unless he is winning this year.

what good is the economy if you're dead from Covid?

see if anyone here can guess how many people would have died if the President had reacted to Covid the same way Taiwan, South Korea, Japan or Australia did.

Republicans are only concerned about financial aspects of government policies. Democrats only concerned about people and of course jobs are part of that concern when it coms to government policies. The difference between the two concerned sides is that valuing money over people isn't the same as valuing people. However, valuing people includes caring about all people's welfare not just their bank accounts. I wonder sometimes if seeing people as only providers blunts the more encompassing compassion for such things as social justice, equality, and opportunity beyond just earning a living? Why set the bar so low that all you consider is hand-to-mouth social issues? I literally hear no other concerns from the Right except basic need which as only served to create a largely poor underclass. Think beyond your wallet.

If his last name was “Trump,” would you say the same thing? We all know the answer to that one. You would be looking to send young Trump to jail.

The funny part is you think that all of us are stupid. The energy company, the Moscow mayor and the Chinese don’t pay people millions of dollars for nothing. They are getting something in return

Well, Joe..... When you are "providing" then all the other personal aspects seem to take care of themselves. Earning a paycheck gives a man a sense of purpose. He probably won't go out and burn a business or confront a policeman if he needs to get up tomorrow morning and be fresh for work. The government cannot legislate social justice, equality and opportunity. A person seeks those things out on their own. These things are only issues to those who are not gainfully employed. I can speak to you from the poor underclass segment of society. I spent the vast majority of my life living there. The government could not provide me with the tools that I sought out on my own to improve my own condition. We can wring our hands about these issues until the cows crow. But they ain't gonna change until some sleeves get rolled up and some hands get dirty first.
