This Site works like total CRAP!

Are you planning to improve the way this site works or have you given up caring? Just let me know because I don't think anyone here wants to spend more time watch our selected links timing out after 5 minutes only so get a blank screen. Is this the new standard around here? Sure seems to be since your silence on the matter seems to be all we hear.

 

I think you need to fix your computer. I am having nothing even resembling what you are describing.

 

Yep, sounds like you should have your computer, and maybe even the monitor, checked or replaced. Even without the non-stop attempts to invade your computer (by viruses and other nasty programs) your computer will fail... due to the industry-wide practice of planned obsolescence: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planned_obsolescence

Actually, I get the same result no matter which computer I use and even on my smart phone. It has been going on for weeks. What is it, linked to my signon only?

 

So you are the only one with a problem. Therefore, it is some one else's fault. I guess I would expect nothing less from you.

 

Dont get any problems with it myself, send Peter a email and he might be able to suggest a fix

 

I just tried an experiment. I signed out and tried clicking a bunch of links and they came right up. I signed in again and every link I click on either timed out or opened on the main page instead. I think that there is only one person that could pull off that little stunt.

Try going into your browser settings and clearing all cookies for this site. Then delete your "Temporary Internet Files" ("How to Delete the Contents of the Temporary Internet Files Folder"). It may make no difference, and then again it may just solve your problem.

 

The only problem I have is with all the advertisements that pop up on the side & obscure some of the posts.

 

From the sounds of your posts, your computers are suddenly working much better. You made 4 posts in 9 minutes, so it cannot be taking you 5 minutes only so get a blank screen.

 

From that I take it you need a new IP address, but even that would only be a temporary solution lol

 

Forget all these techno nerd solutions...just sacrifice a chicken on your keyboard, say a few free market chants and watch the site speed up. It really is that simple.
