Holy cow! I’m not tired of winning yet, but I’ll tell ya… winning is exhausting! I’m talking about the United States winning, of course. Just in the last couple of weeks, the winning includes: The Big Beautiful Bill passed. MAJOR win for President Trump (and a win for the U.S.) Price of eggs are down. Price of gas is down. Stock market is up. WAY up. Iran had its nuclear weapons program obliterated. Supreme Court ruled against nationwide injunctions by district judges. Southern border crossings are down, nearly to nothing. Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire. Parents can block LGB material in schools (really, why is this even being questioned? Go figure…). There’s so much winning I can’t even keep track of all of it. Winning feels pretty damned good.
I like to think of it more as stormy, Blue Sky idealism giving way to . . . A new dawning of the peaceful, more pragmatic life
Not tired of the winning here either. Let's not forget: - Supreme Court decision on birthright citizenship. - U. Penn vacating all of the 'records' set by the male swimmer, William 'Lia' Thomas. And publicly apologizing to all of the female swimmers affected by his presence in the women's locker rooms, and fraudulently awarded medals actually won by those women. And let's not forget the publicly discussed consideration of the nomination of President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize by Félix Tshisekedi, President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) for POTUS Trump facilitating a peace agreement for the decades long conflict between the DRC and Rwanda. All the winning? Naaah, not tired yet.
