toughcoins Rarely is the liberal viewpoint tainted by realism

Actually, that is not quite complete, as it well-describes many members of both parties.

    Little Joe, Little Joe.

    Sigh.

    I think you mean Brotherism.

Botherism is the affect of excessive Trumpterbation. I understand how you were confusing the 2, being you are the High Priest of practicing Trumpterbation.

Note I have decided to be colloquially clear, to make it easier for you, and will use a Capitol T for emphasis of this special talent you possess.

I ranked them for fun based on how I was thinking during the primaries.

We are redefining leadership before our very eyes. We just fired a leader that was a narcissist. And we hire a leader that isn’t allowed to speak off script. I wouldn’t follow any of them onto a baseball field much less a battlefield. Apparently a leaders number one qualification in the 21st century is his ability to make us all feel good. That’s all fine and good until Kim-Jon-Nutjob decides to lob a warhead our general direction……. Real leaders…. Men with cajones that can make tough decisions and stand behind them are no longer in fashion I see. Well, ya’ll go cuddle up to your fuzzy limp daddy figures. I’ve had enough of this insanity.

Cory Booker's High School Principal moved near me after retirement (no one stays in New Jersey after retirement). I played golf with him during the primary and he said Cory is full of hot air.

I've often wondered how any rational person could follow Socialism/Marxism since it's an impossible ideal. Then I read about Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) and it all makes perfect sense! Socialism and Marxism still make no sense...but now I understand (I guess) how people believe it can all work...

Since Liz and Bernie are your #1 & #2, you must have a wonderful understanding of MMT. Could you please explain how it works? I've read it. but I still don't understand. :(

I wish. I got another job offer just this week...to move to Denver. I'm thinking about it. I worked in Littleton, Co for a few years. It's a nice area. A lot of links-style golf courses.

I would really like to hear @JoeNation explain it. If this is what makes the Left's vision come to life, I need to make an honest effort to understand it. I'm not necessarily against the Left's "vision"...I just don't understand how the underlying economics works. If we can truly eliminate taxation and borrowing while funding any social program we wish, I would like to walk through a few scenarios with Joe to see how it works.

I meant to say @GeneWright ...but I would like to hear what Joe thinks, too.

yakpoo, I owe you an apology.

I tapped the button quickly, and embedded my Charley Talk inside your post that was responding to GeneWright.

My intention was to provide you a footnote in support of your commentary, with the added intent to offer, for consideration, a perspective for our resident progressive intellectual member, GeneWright, since on the surface he appears to be well meaning and I have nothing but love, for him....nothing but love.

Mea Culpa, my Liege. Because of my silly error, the Charley Talk will fall on many blind eyes. This is my punishment, for which there is no known correction, to serve as Penance, short of a talented programmer stepping forward to save the day, and my embarrassment.

Truth in editing: added an "o" to yakpo

I am serious. Progressive intellectual economic ideology is well known as a driving tool of socialism, and has been a required progressive socialist tool ever since Roosevelt. It is the anathema of Capitalism. It has been used successfully by Wharton socialists.

This would be interesting. Remember, many folks on the left believe it’s possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. The only reason that others got crap on their hands is because they didn’t do it correctly.
