The answer....Hell NO! Thwarting the will of the people who elected a president to get things done has been the number one goal of the GOP in the last 4 years. Now they are asking us to reward their obstructionism with even more power to force their minority agenda on the rest of us. They have many self-interested billionaires on their side and that translates to a lot of political clout in a system slanted heavily towards capitalist values. The power resides in the hands of the few and in the hands of their puppet politicians. The only real power we have as individuals in this country now that corporate money swaps individual contributions is our vote and they have done their best to take that away as well. Isn't it time we own this country again and tax the billionaires out of existence the same way they have tried to legislate our right to vote out of existence? Damn straight! Vote Obama/Biden 2012 or literally vote yourself a boot in the ass!
Re-elect a guy who snowed the public by promising to fix the economy? Lower unemployment? Reduce the deficit by 50%? Makes sense to me. Heck, BO himself said if he wasn't able to get those things accomplished he didn't deserve to be re-elected. And wasn't BO able to get Obamacare passed without any Republican support? That seems obstruction-proof to me.
ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome) *in your defense BO did finally admit he never promised to keep every campaign promise he made
Here, lets just nip this in the bud......Harry Reid on bi-partisanship in his own words.........watch him say it http://politics.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981737886
Yes and you can go to YouTube and pull the videos of Obama expressing exactly those sentiments but then you run right into the Right-wing parallel universe that is not capable of in-taking this reality so they create one that they prefer. They create an Obama the rest of us can't see where he is a Kenyan Socialist Muslim foreigner anti-colonialist Nazi. You forget that reality and the extremists that have taken over the GOP are mutually exclusive. Good luck trying to make them see any truth that goes against their ideology. Their standard bearer certainly creates "truth" whenever he needs to. It is pretty are to deny the lies when you get slapped down by GM and Chrysler and you simply keep telling he lies and ignore the entire country calling you out. That says parallel universe by any definition.
