...everybody is happy & healthy, kids excel in the classroom & in athletics, they have a lot of friends, we travel, we do a lot of volunteer work as a family....what else would you like to know? I don't turn my teenage kids out to adults as some here tend to do, we don't wallow around a trailer all day blaming our misfortunes on others and in the future they'll bless us with grandbabies....wouldn't change a thing if I could.

lol....I think we set a record for the number of "alerts" in a specified period of time. In about half an hour, I received 62 I should have waited an hour before looking lol
Why would you think I don't? I spend a lot of time helping others & based on public information I give a lot more than, say, Crazy Joe Biden.

You do do a lot of good work helping the less fortunate, and that is commendable, but, IMO, it's more cosmetic than any deep desire to help them. One reason I say this, unfortunately disrespectful thing, is when you say thing like this: Forgive me, but that isn't something someone would say if they truly cared about the lives, the suffering, of the poor. It's easy for someone to say "work hard and you will succeed", but try succeeding when your bones ache, when your teeth rot, when you spend every minute of your life doing what you can to mitigate that pain. Financially, nearly every penny I have made in the past thirty years has gone to health issues. More, if you consider the generosity of people like you. What you do, helping the poor in your area, is a good thing, and I don't want to jeopardize that in any way, but it's only easing some of their pain, some of their suffering, so it's just a bandaid, where surgery is required. That isn't me saying you need to financially assist anyone, instead it means you should learn more about the issues of poverty before you complain about how poor people are harming you.
I believe there is a huge difference between someone who needs some help & people who depend on others. Trust me, I've seen it all...
