For the record:

The young woman and her boyfriend applied at the same time.

Both had very long hair, and there are rules against men having long hair, so my boss only hired her. He said "that kid had hair down to his ass!", to which I replied that he was prejudiced. Some time later, with my hair just touching my shoulders, he attempted to MAKE me cut my hair. I told him there was no way in hell that I would, because the rule is discrimination. He said if I came back the next morning, with my hair not cut, he'd fire me. I came back the next day with my hair intact, but tucked into my hat. At first, he thought he had won though, and was boasting about it to the other people in the room. His second in command knew better and said "he's got it tucked under his hat", to which I looked at my boss and said "got a problem with that", and he stormed off. I wasn't fired. I had found a loophole in the rules. It said my hair couldn't touch my shoulders, and it no longer did.

As for the (deleted)'s comment about the young girl's lust for an old man: He apparently doesn't understand why she would put up with the abuse. Only an idiot, or someone intent on bs, would say such an insensitive thing. He assumes she wanted his fat, sweaty, old body against her's, where, in reality, she simply didn't want trouble. BTW, to suggest such a thing, without knowing the facts, is absolutely sexist. It's sexist things like this that are harming rape victims, and he should be ashamed of himself.

Back to my boss:

He got over that little trauma though, of him humiliating himself in front of everyone, and some months later asked me for retirement advice, which I gave him, and to the best of my knowledge, he followed it to the letter.

But, back to the point of this explanation: Some people are just too stupid to figure things out on their own, and need to have just about everything explained to them, as if they were a child. Moreover, they assume too much, and choose to believe the ridiculous over common sense.

It seems as if you were treating that girl in a chauvinistic manner by attempting to be her "savior". Did you not think that she could have taken care of the problem (if, indeed, there was a problem to begin with) herself or did you just feel like butting in to something that wasn't really your business? What would that poor girl have done without you and your misogynistic incursion into her life? It sounds more like you might have had some feelings for the girl and didn't want her to spoil herself on the old dude. I don't know what the whole story is (and you're not telling us), but there was certainly something going on there that doesn't meet the eye.

As far as your not following the rules by wearing your hair long and being a prick toward the boss, did you ever think that is perhaps the reason you never made it anywhere in life? It seems that because of your attitude, you're an old, toothless man now sitting in front of your computer hoping that other people will come to your rescue. I think it's time you looked back over your life and started to realize that there's no one to blame for your predicament but yourself.

What am I missing? Was the girl raped? Did she eventually get with the old man? Did you eventually seduce her? Did she tell you she wanted the old guy and you got in the way? Did she seduce you and the old man? Did you seduce the girl and the old man? Did you seduce the boss and eventually beat up the old man? Did your boss seduce you, fire the old man, beat up the girl, hire her friend with the long hair, beat him up while seducing him and then fire you for not seducing the girl while driving the garbage truck? It's not as if I care about who you seduce or not, it's just that if you're going to tell a story you should give all the details for the reader.

That's the problem. You didn't give enough information much less the age of the girl. What if she had been sixteen? Would you have done anything differently? What was the age of consent at the time and in the location where this incident took place? In many areas of the country, sixteen is the age of consent and it possibly was when/where this incident happened. I assumed from your story you already knew that and the girl was over sixteen (or else you would have stated such). I assume you knew she was over the age of consent or you would've acted differently possibly by beating the man to death right then and there. But, based on your actions, a reader is to assume the fact that she was over the age of consent.

Nevertheless, I bet she's somewhere today thanking her lucky stars that her knight in shining armor came to the rescue of her poor, defenseless, hapless, helpless self. Didn't you think she could take care of the (perceived) problem on her own? Maybe she and the old man hooked up after your intervention and laughed at you behind your back for years.

 

This is pretty typical stuff for coiny and the rest of the unholy trio. I don't know what the psychology behind this behavior is but they tend to take any story one of us relates and twist it into the darkest, cynical, most negative take one could possibly imagine especially considering that they have absolutely zero first hand knowledge of it in the first place. Like I said, I don't know where this behavior comes from or why anyone would automatically assume such negative connotations about something they couldn't possibly know anything about. I just attribute it to their innate hatefulness and anger towards anyone they percieve as their enemies.
