Bachmann is out! You know, I'm really not sure who the real winners here are. Obviously, the people of Minnesota and the 6th District but considering that she actually sponsored next to no legislation in 8 years and she was a total albatross around the neck of the wing nuts, she really served no purposes but here own ambitions. So I have to admit, as ineffective as she was as a legislator, she really did little real harm as a result. And let's not forget that she gave the Left a wealth of comic material to work with. I just can't figure out who benefits from this vacancy more, the Right or the Left. Oh well, see ya on Fox Michele. Try and bring your gay husband with you to the set, they'll just love that.
Try to drag yourself through the rest of the day anyway. I was born and raised in Minnesota and most of my family either lives there or is buried there. This is such great news that several of my relatives have already called me weeping with happiness....even a few of the deceased ones. I guess everyone is happy.
She really makes it hard on this old Lefty to hate her. She is just so completely ineffective as a legislator. Now in her third House term, Bachmann has never had a bill or resolution she’s sponsored signed into law, and she’s never wielded a committee gavel, either at the full or subcommittee level. Bachmann’s amendments and bills have rarely been considered by any committee, even with the House under GOP control. Maybe. From what I understand he was involved in "faith healing" gays, and it's not entirely impossible that he himself is gay, or has gay tendencies, but I can't say so with any degree of certainty. If I was married to her, I would sooooo go gay, but probably wouldn't remember a thing because of the blood alcohol level. Anything to get away from that face.
