http://www.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2013/06/berlin-obama-2013-vs-2008/66388/ He's a worldwide joke!
OOPS! When you cannot control something (the sun), you had best learn to work with it. Somehow, he has never managed to learn that.
We travelled outside the country recently & I was shocked (disheartened?) by the number of jokes that were being made about BO & at the expense of the US. We've become something of a laughing stock to the rest of the world...
Yeah, the same attitude abounded when Jimmuh Cahtuh was president. It took a strong Republican president (Reagan) to turn our country around and to make us the envy of the world again. I don't like our country being the laughing stock of the world, but that's usually what happens under a democrat. View attachment 1776
I think Bush is okay with an Iraqi throwing a shoe at him. Now BO, on the other hand, would be crushed if a Muslim expressed displeasure with him.
Nothing new there...we've been the joke for half a century. The times I went overseas people hated, and I do mean hated with a passion, Reagan. George W was just looked upon as a clown in the literal sense. Clinton people seemed to like, as well as Bush Sr. Obama was still in the infancy of this presidency so nobody really cared. Of course, the same can be said for many leaders around the world.
Don't you see Clembo, they still think he's a Muslim born in Kenya and is just biding his time until he can unleash his jihad upon us. It's true because Fox said so.
That is an excellent defense of Bush. You think Bush took it well and was just fine with it eh? I'm sure that the tens of thousands of Iraqis that died as a result of the bombs and bullets Bush unleashed on the Iraqi civilans probably had nothing to do with the shoe incident. You're right, Bush should be "okay" with all the innocent dead Iraqis and the rather muted protest one brave Iraqi man had the courage to express in the only way he could. No Republicans are ever popular during or after their term in office. Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama ALL have been and will continue to be far more popular around the globe and that is the real reason you have to be so dismissive of one brave Iraqi man that risked death to show his contempt for the guy you voted for. Republicans always dismiss world opinion as unimportant because if they didn't, they'd have to admit what a bunch of total losers the rest of the world thinks their party leaders are. Its all you have.
Well, that makes sense in a delusional, logical way I suppose. However, I see flaws and conflict if this is a right wing point of view. The main conflict I see is when President Barack Hussein Obama is referred to as "the Messiah". I bring this up because I NEVER see anyone from the left refer to him as the messiah. Nope. It's always a comment made by those on the right. Logically, if they refer to him as the messiah then I suppose some of them think he really is. Problem is that those that refer to him as the messiah tend to want to cram their "Chirstian beliefs" down peoples throats. A Christian thocracy would be fine it seems. As long as it's their breed of Christianity. A "Muslim Messiah" would seem to be a great deal of conflict in the tiny brain of someone that refers to our President as a messiah and a Muslim. On the other hand a brain that tiny would never make the connection. So they keep spouting out the same old garbage and patting themselves on the back because they're so clever. It's comical actually.
I agree. And quite truthfully, I'd rather live under the oppressive thumb of a delusional dictator than a theocracy of any kind.
Oh, but see, I don't believe BO is a Kenyan born Muslim (too much was exposed regarding his affiliation with Jeremiah Wright)...I do believe a good chunk of his ideology involves appeasing the Muslims. I believe BO was born in Hawaii but I also believe he used his Kenyan connections whenever it benefited him, including claiming Kenyan birth to enhance his back story.
Given the choice (and if you had to choose one), would you rather live under the Dalai Lama or under Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, Gadaffi or Chairman Mao?
I still choose my previous answer. A theocracy is far more troubling than any dictator has ever been, including those you mentioned...combined. Not to mention, the Dalai Lama isn't a leader of any country. He's even exiled from his own, so he's not really a theocratic leader in any sense.
Neither are Hitler, Stalin, Idi Amin, Gadaffi or Chairman Mao leaders of a country, but just like the Dalai Lama, they were.
Context...look it up. I guess to put it into the simplest perspective I can, if all those people were running countries at the same time today, I'd rather live under any of the dictatorships mentioned than under any theocracy.
