Trump is a moron for starters. It shows how little anyone knows about history when they proclaim Obama, or any president in the last 100 years was the worst ever. How about Fillmore and Pierce and Buchanan who willingly fed the fires that started the worst war as far as casualties in US history. Of Harding who let his cronies raid the treasury department while he turned a blind eye. Can anyone with a real sense or morality seriously put Obama in this category without feeling their nose grow, their pants catch fire, or their iq vaporize?
Wow, OKC, open a history book or two. You can have an opinion, but at least base it on something factual.
I've been reading up on Harding, who I used to think of as super-corrupt. From what I can tell he was seriously considering outing all the scandals in his administration, during a trip out West, but died there before he could. Had he lived, it sounds to me like he was going to do just that, upon returning to D.C., and history would have seen him differently for it.
Reagan sucked as a leader. He let his cronies take advantage of his naivety. "Big Business" blossomed as he allowed/demanded regulations to be slackened. The Savings and Loan fiasco didn't wake up his party to their stupidities, and as such played a part with the recession that hit us in 2008. Reagan was a tool. He was surrounded by "big business" men who used him like you'd use any tool, and Reagan just sat there on his throne like a fool. Old man Bush was craftier. He kept information close to himself, but his son was a dullard who was just as bad as Reagan was at being a leader. They were both followers, marching to the drum-beat of the real people in power: Big Business. They did it willingly, true, but they were both naive simpletons when it came to leadership abilities.
The middle class has been in a 30 year decline thanks to Ronnie. I know this idiot is a God to the righties but he was another tool of ther corporatist elite, like Bush.
Something else: The poor haven't done too well either. I've noticed the White House doesn't even have "Poverty" as an "Issue", meaning Obama doesn't pay much attention to the issue, in and of itself. He does through policy, but indirectly. Yes, the middle-class is the overwhelming majority of citizens, and that's where true change occurs, but by not spotlighting poverty as an "Issue" I get a bit perturbed at him. PPACA, ACA, Obamacare...whatever...will help the poor, period, and that should be highlighted, not ignored.
It's doubtful that the Obamacare tax will benefit you since your medical problems are caused by your teeth. Is the Obamacare tax going to cover dental procedures?
Obamacare with it's massive tax increases, job killing, premium raising, IRS red tape and medical rationing is going to be the biggest "I told you so" in our history.
