Nowhere does the bill say this. Employers with 50 or more employees that do not provide healthcare will have to use it or be fined, but no provisions will force individuals to join of be fined.

 

I'm not an Evangelical...not that there's anything wrong with that.

Anyone who doesn't see that Obamacare is nothing more than another progressive scheme to gain control of our lives is a sheer idiot. Soon, all this confusion & incompetence surrounding the law will lead some far left politician to blame it all on the insurance companies and they'll suggest "government" can do it better & cheaper.

 

Ok David, let's get the government "out of your life". First we'll have to illuminate such government funded intrusions as social security, Medicare, police, firefighters, airline controllers, highway departments, schools, most colleges, passenger trains, post office, most doctors who rely heavily on grants and fed loans to pay for their schooling, the military.....I can go on all day. But these are all things you surely don't need or use because they're government intrusions into your separatist, hermit ways, I imagine.

 

But I never said get the government "out of your life" though, did I? I think your "all or nothing"comment highlights the problem with most progressives.

 

Healthcare isn't progressive...it's a basic human need.

 

But Obamacare really isn't about healthcare...it's about gov't control over the daily lives of the citizenry and that's the progressive agenda.
