Another Repulican Gov. Facing Federal Corruption Charges

I know, I know, another non-story... I'm sure the Right-wingers will dismiss this scandal as well since it involves one of the own at a fairly high level in their party. Poor Gov. Ultrasound.

Bob McDonnell, Wife Indicted On Federal Corruption Charges: Report

Former Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell (R) and wife Maureen were indicted on federal corruption charges Monday, the Washington Post reports.
The couple is being charged for illegally accepting gifts while McDonnell was in office.
Earlier this month, McDonnell acknowledged the scandal during his final State of the Commonwealth address, saying he was "deeply sorry" for any pain caused.

You guys seem to conveniently forget just who Blago replaced. That would be George Ryan (R) who went to prison for racketeering. With 2 governors from the Right under federal scrutiny at the same time, it is clearly my turn to rub it in your faces. Remember, we cannot talk about anyone in the past ala George Bush.

Yeah, but none of those people seem to be under federal indictment right now but Bob "Gifty" McDonnell and his wife are.

 

So, what's your point? Democrats are less scandal-prone than Republicans? Good luck with that.

Blago....whatever.....the dude sporting the pompadour...got what he deserved, more or less. Personally, I'd like to shave his head and tattoo "Loser!" across his forehead, but that's more for my own personal amusement than anything else. Well, that and the fact that his hair looks ridiculous, and he doesn't appear to know it.

Unlike republicans, we Democrats tend to celebrate the removal of an (_l_) from the political arena, no matter their political-leanings.

You right-wing extremists here are going to be hard-pressed to even acknowledge the fat-man's corruption, let alone celebrate his removal (should it occur). Instead, you old men (david excluded, in part) tend to ignore the issue completely, as if it doesn't exist, and continue your pathetic partisan attacks.

No, the tit-for-tat thing was your doing. My point was that McDonnell and his wife are under indictment and the ramifications for yet another former GOP presidential hopeful. A point you couldn't bear to think about apparently. I certainly understand your lack of courage. You tend to never criticize your own party for anything. I didn't expect that to change. You claim that both sides are scandal prone and I couldn't agree more but you then refuse to criticize your own guys but can't stop criticizing the other side. Balance it out a bit if you want to be taken seriously or at least explain to the rest of us why your guy's shit doesn't stink. You can do that much.
