So this is all the Right-wingers have to hold up against the Chris Christie and Bob and Mrs. McDonnell scandals? Wow! That is pretty pathetic. I'm embarrassed FOR you.

 

Let's see. You seem to have made a big deal out of a few governor's aides shutting down a lane on a bridge. Not that the governor himself was ever accused of anything, mind you. In fact, the governor came out immediately and fired those responsible.

Now, we have a then-cabinet member to the nation's president, the Treasury Secretary of all things, accused of threatening the head of a company for just doing his job. Threatening retribution in a way a schoolyard bully might do.

But, somehow, you're very strangely silent on this scandal. I wonder why? Oh, I see... it's because you're a hypocritical partisan hack who wears rose-colored glasses when it comes to liberals.

This isn't a discussion of who "got our credit rating lowered in the first place". It could be the man in the moon, for all that matters. Does that give Geithner reason to threaten the head of S&P? Does it give Geithner reason to throw his power around like some schoolyard bully?

You seem to have a big problem with people you consider "bullies". Well, Geithner has demonstrated that he's one of the worst. Comments?

I never find things like hijacking threads, or name calling, or parroting viewpoints, or copying and pasting articles unusual for this place by any member but I am always struck that anyone would call anyone else out for doing exactly what they do without hesitation. Hum?

I don't spend as much time here as I should, apparently, and even though this place is not all that active, I don't read every thread. So, actually I missed that pathetic example of trolling by JoeNation. If I had seen it, especially if I saw it in multiple threads, I would have commented on it eventually, particularly if I then saw JoeNation crying about off-topic posts in another thread. I don't deny that in regards to politics, JoeNation's position is generally closer to mine than yours, but that doesn't mean that I can't call him out for what I see as lame behavior.

The thing is, it seems that while JoeNation made a couple of those posts and moved on, you thought it was so cool, or egregious, or whatever, that you had to imitate him. Not just imitate him, but outdo him in the stupid/worthless department. You produced at least six of your version. One or two would have been sufficient to make your point, and I doubt that I would have mentioned it. After your extended tantrum over multiple threads, though, trying to moan about off-topic posts seemed outstandingly ridiculous enough to be worthy of comment.

However, I agree that my pointing out of your trolling lacked context, considering that you were only aping JoeNation. I apologize for that oversight.
