As PC as this place has become, I wonder why this idiot survives. Oh, I forgot. Hes a liberal. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/rep-bennie-thompson-defends-calling-clarence-thomas-an-uncle-tom/
In a deeper context, it's kind of sad to think that these liberal policies have created a system where black citizens actually believe the can't survive without gov't subsidies...but I guess that was their intention from the very beginning, wasn't it? Like the drug dealer, you get people hooked on the drug your selling & make them believe anyone who tries to ween them from the addiction is evil.
An old white guy berating a black guy's complaints about "Uncle Tom" is a lot like an old white guy berating a women for her complaints about menstruation: You'll never understand why you're about to receive a beating, but the video should be put on the internet both as an educational tool for idiots and also as entertainment for us non-idiots to enjoy. Please, continue.
... says the white guy who knows absolutely nothing about what he's trying to talk about. Thanks for your useless input anyway.
Are you talking about the Michigan Mooch? Here's Cab Calloway singing the original "Michigan Mooch" which he wrote after meeting the mooch in the mooching district of Moochville. Soon thereafter, the mooch moved to Moochtown (another city in Moochigan) where he held his first and only job for 3 hours in 1958 at a dairy company whose claim to fame was a cattle-waste by-product called MooCheeze. After eating too much free MooCheeze, the mooch got sick but was able to mooch enough money from other people to pay for a doctor visit. I'm unhappy to say that the mooch is now doing...... mooch better. View attachment 2512
This is from Wiki; Uncle Tom, the title character, was initially seen as a noble, long-suffering Christian slave. In more recent years, however, his name has become an epithet directed towards African-Americans who are accused of selling out to whites. Stowe intended Tom to be a "noble hero"[27] and praiseworthy person. Throughout the book, far from allowing himself to be exploited, Tom stands up for his beliefs and is grudgingly admired even by his enemies. I see Clarence Thomas as a noble hero who does stand up for his beliefs despite whatever peer pressures may be thrown his way. PS; I'm going to start referring to progressives as "Uncle Joe".
