American Doomsday: White House Warns of Climate Catastrophes "Natural drivers of climate cannot explain the recent observed warming," the report states. "Over the last five decades, natural factors (solar forcing and volcanoes) alone would actually have led to a slight cooling." http://www.nbcnews.com/science/environment/american-doomsday-white-house-warns-climate-catastrophes-n98011
Global warming does not necessarily mean warmer air temps. The oceans are more vulnerable to warming than the atmosphere. You people in the northeast have seen this over the winter. Warmer oceans mean more, severe, and frequent storms. The "warming" refers to surface warming, not air.

Yeah, yeah, I know, NASA isn't as reliable a source as Ted Cruz or Mitt Romney, but still: http://www.latimes.com/science/environment/la-sci-0513-antarctic-ice-sheet-20140513-story.html
And Al Gore is the ultimate expert. Didn't he win some kind of award or something? And you know this because there is no ice at the North Pole. I can't prove it, but that is what he said would happen in 2013. Read more: http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/dec/16/editorial-al-gore-soothsayer/#ixzz31c7w5ZKz
http://news.msn.com/world/west-antarctic-ice-sheet-collapse-unstoppable-says-nasa?ocid=ansnews11 NASA says it is unstoppable - it has reached the point of no return - so what is the point of debating the consequences?
Spending a bunch of money, wasting a bunch of resources and promoting and forcing a bunch of measures to prevent something that is unstoppable. That meets my definition of crazy.
If a landslide is unstoppable I don't just stop and let it consume me in my tracks...I run like hell to avoid it to fight another day. We may not be able to stop ice melting in the polar regions, but that doesn't mean we just say screw it and revert to our industrial revolutionary ways. That is truly crazy.
The hypocrisy of all these global warming activists & alarmists sure doesn't do anything to garner support from people who are on the fence (as I am).
You make a good point above. The idea of jumping on a bulldozier trying to stop a landslide would never cross my mind. Especially one powered by batteries. That would be just a waste of money and resources and produce no positive outcome.
