Well I think I've beat my point into a dead horse or something like that. You do tend towards the same obfuscation techniques as the rest of the RW'ers here but you are much more honest than any of them. But they do set the bar pretty low.

I have finally convinced one of them that the ACA is not the devil in disguise. It's a start and he'll still kick and scream until he wears himself out but he'll sleep good after that.

Just how dense are you? Ky had a subsidized health program well before Obamacare. It worked for the state. It cost the people less, had lower deductibles, covered more and provided recipients the opportunity to give back (and learn job skills) in the form of work. It was also voluntary.
You apparently researched Kynect so, should you doubt these facts, it shouldn't be difficult for you to verify....if the truth has any bearing on what you repeat.

Oh really, so exactly what does, "created in accordance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act." mean on your planet? Or Right-wing world as we call it.

Being steeped in denial is an interesting and often funny place to see people like you. Keep going.

I don't know what else you want me to answer. The best example I can give you is May 2014, I got the shingles in my right eye, which caused some awful problems, as you can imagine. I had to go to the eye doctor 3 times, which cost me around $1,300 out of my own pocket. At that time, I expected to survive it, otherwise, I may have considered checking out, if you know what I mean.

So, exactly how dark is it there where you have your head stuck?
Does the truth about the damage being caused by Obamacare even matter to your ilk?

I don't need you to say anything else. You can't deny that something like an appendicitis that kills you if you don't have surgery may happen and that it would be silly to die from lack of an appendectomy. The emergency surgery is many thousands of dollars and without insurance, we'd end up picking up the tab. I would like to know how rigid ideology so easily trump the long standing RW mantra of personal responsibility? Why do Republicans privatize their earnings and socialize their losses and still pretend that their ideology means anything?

So you can't deny that Kynect is Obamacare so you insult and obfuscate. No worries, I'm used to that tactic from you.

Let me go slower for your benefit...
The plan in place in Ky, years before Obamacare existed, was usurped by Obamacare and made worse by Obamacare.

Kentuckians Hate Kynect A Lot Less Than Obamacare
    By Ariel Edwards-Levy

Residents of Kentucky may hate Obamacare, but they're much less hostile toward Kynect, the state's health exchange created to comply with the law.

In a survey released Monday, NBC News and Marist asked half the respondents what they thought about Obamacare and the other half what they thought about Kynect.

Neither program was especially popular: Just 33 percent felt favorably toward Obamacare and just 29 percent toward Kynect. But a 56 percent majority disliked Obamacare, while just 22 percent felt negatively toward Kynect. Most Kentucky residents were undecided about the state exchange, with 50 percent saying they'd never heard of Kynect or weren't sure how they felt. Less than 12 percent were unsure about or unfamiliar with Obamacare.

Kynect's largely successful rollout hasn't generated goodwill for Obamacare, but the new survey numbers suggest the state exchange has avoided being mired in partisanship to the same degree.

The biggest difference in views of the two programs comes among Republicans. The percentage of GOP respondents who were unfavorable toward Obamacare was 51 percentage points higher than the percentage who felt that way about Kynect. That margin was 42 points for independents and 18 points for Democrats.

Taking Obama out of the equation also seems to give the health care law a small boost nationally. In Gallup's national polling, approval for the "Affordable Care Act" was 7 points higher than approval for "Obamacare." A separate CNBC survey found that Obamacare received both more support and more opposition than the ACA, which garnered more undecided responses.

NBC/Marist's Kentucky poll surveyed 2,772 adults in Kentucky from April 30 to May 6, using live interviewers to reach both landlines and cell phones.

In Polling Obamacare, A Label Makes A Big Difference

    by CARRIE DANN

When it comes to views of the new health care law, sometimes it’s all in a name.

In Kentucky, a new Marist poll conducted for NBC News finds that 57 percent of registered voters have an unfavorable view of “Obamacare,” the shorthand commonly used to label the 2010 Affordable Care Act. That’s compared with only 33 percent who give it a thumbs up – hardly surprising in a state where the president’s approval rating hovers just above 30 percent.

By comparison, when Kentucky voters were asked to give their impression of "kynect," the state exchange created as a result of the health care law, the picture was quite different.

A plurality – 29 percent – said they have a favorable impression of kynect, compared to 22 percent who said they view the system unfavorably. Twenty-seven percent said they hadn't heard of kynect, and an additional 21 percent said they were unsure.

“Call it something else, and the negatives drop,” said Marist pollster Lee Miringoff.

Half of Kentucky voters in the poll were asked about “Obamacare”; the other half were asked about kynect.

Kynect itself is one of the new law’s state success stories; more than 413,000 residents signed up for health coverage under the new law before March’s enrollment deadline. Last month, Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear called the implementation of the Affordable Care Act in the state an “indisputable success” and noted that 75 percent of the applicants were previously uninsured.

(Beshear, by the way, has an impressive 63 percent approval rating in the state, with just 22 percent of registered voters disapproving of his job performance, according to Marist.)

It may prove to be a tricky narrative for the state’s senior senator, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, who’s running neck-and-neck with Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in November’s general election. McConnell, one of the health care law’s leading opponents, is underwater statewide but remains popular with his own party.

The margin of error for registered voters asked about either Obamacare or kynect was +/- 2.9 percent for 1160 registered voters. The margin of error for questions about McConnell, Beshear and Obama’s approval ratings was +/- 2.0 percent for 2353 registered voters. The poll was conducted April 30 through May 6, 2014.

Kynect: Enrollment started on October 1, 2013 and the first enrollment period ended March 31, 2014.

I'd be very careful about saying other people have their heads up their asses if I were you. You clearly can't see the truth and you never will.

But the point you've been making is that Kynect and Obamacare are the same thing. If they are the same thing, how can there be a distinction between the two?

You seem to be doing some research on the subject...and you post what you think agrees with your point. Do you just breeze over the facts that prove what I've told you? How typically liberal.

You really can't admit the truth can you? You must be one of those moron Republicans in Kentucky that participated in the Marist poll. You just don't have the integrity to admit how wrong you are or even post something that contradicts what I am saying.

It takes a big person to admit that they are wrong and we all know that you aren't. You and the rest of the Republican party. Just grow a pair and admit that you were wrong. You are from Kentucky, we will understand. You're all a bunch of cow-eyed inbred hillbilly hicks. We already know this. You have demonstrated it here perfectly.
