I want you to pay for your own health care costs PERIOD! It is affordable thanks to Obamacare and not doing it out of pride and honor is about as stupid a reason as I can think of.

I was brought up believing paying your own way was the responsible way.

I never said I want anyone paying for my health ins. I'll do it myself out of pocket or if need be take out a loan from the bank and make payments thank you very much.
And a free market system actually will bring costs way down if the ins. company's have to compete for money's just like car ins. company's do but thanks to this tyrannical Govt. we now have we have to deal with entitlements and regulations forced on us by a lawless Govt.


The Govt's job is not to tell WE THE PEOPLE what to do or what to buy that's communism.
In fact my belief is the Federal Govt's job is quite the opposite we pay taxes for the military to keep us safe and the like NOT for regulations and mandates telling us what we can and cannot do.
And imo believe the worst of it started with the FDR era.

Not even the Govt. can save anyone from themselves or for that matter they shouldn't even try but all you folks on the left and even some on the right (but they seem more left than right to me).

 

You are paying for your own health care until something very, very expensive comes along. Then the rest of us get to pay for your lack of health care coverage. Face it, you're a self-described welfare queen. You expect those of us that do have health insurance to cover you in the form of higher premiums when something expensive comes along. I learned something a long time ago. Republicans are against every government program they either don't personally benefit from, the programs they can't see the connection between their tax dollars and the benefits they already receive like the roads and sewer system right outside their front doors, and the government programs that address needs of people they feel that they are better than, you know, minorities, immigrants, women and children, the usual right-wing targets. I realized this one day when a former co-worker who was a rabid Republican said that the Social Security program should be abolished. At first I was shocked that she didn't want children that had lost a parent, disabled people, and elderly people to receive help but then I realized that since we don't pay into the Social Security system because we pay into the State pension system instead, this co-worker didn't directly benefit for Social Security and was that damn shortsighted and selfish. And that defines republicans. They are too damn selfish and self-centered to ever want to contribute to the betterment of society if it means a penny less in their pockets. I could just never worship money that much. What's it like?

 

Bullshit! If you need major surgery that costs over a 100 grand or you get cancer, you couldn't possibly afford to pay those costs. No bank is going to lend you that money. What will happen is that the rest of us non-leeches will pick up your tab in the form of higher insurance premiums and you'll sign bankruptcy. You're nothing more than a fucking sponge hiding behind convenient rhetoric that won't be worth a damn if you get sick.

I have heard this same crap from every idiotic right-winger claiming that they will live with the consequences of cancer or an appendicitis, or a heart attack or a car accident so the they can live up to their idiotic ideologies knowing the reality is that they would cry like little bitches if they ever needed actual health care in an emergency and of course the medical profession is obligated to treat them and we end up picking up the tab. Why not just put a gun to your head now and save us the expense and keep your ideological purity intact.

 

You could be correct, in that, none of us can say with 100% certainty how we will deal with a crisis should one occur, but you also can't be 100% certain we will not just end it instead of endure it.

 

That's a dumb question. All presidents receive their medical care from military physicians of the White House Medical Unit. Once he leaves, he will undoubtedly us an exchange to get health care.
