It's Election Day (very early) in the PRWE Section

Just as I have always said, this is one conservative group of characters for the most part. I don't vote parties, I vote candidates. This poll makes no sense to me personally. Not many Conservatives could say that with a straight face. Blind devotion to ANY political party these days is in my opinion mindless partisanship that leads you to anywhere from benignly supporting those that couldn't care less about you and your interests to actively supporting those that directly make your situation worse and everything else in between.
If you are a single issue voter, abortion pro or con, hunting rights pro or con, and taxes more or less, etc., then you are probably screwing yourself in so many other ways without even thinking about it. There are so many issues that affect all of us and I believe that you have to weight them against each other and only then throw your support behind the group that will do the most for you and the issues that concern you overall. Conservatives are well-known for their devotion to their party regardless of the candidate. That is what keeps me from ever throwing my support behind their cause. The Left is less cohesive and has to be very ticked off to show up in mass numbers. It usually takes Conservatives like George Bush to elicit that kind of voter anger. Nice job George!
