Finally! Thanks to everyone that got involved enough to participate in the election. It was a close one and if anything was reveled, it is that we have an incredibly divided nation. That makes us very vulnerable. We have to choose to come together or risk further dividing ourselves. Trump was never going to unite this county under any circumstances. Biden has the opportunity to be a president for all Americans. Is he up to it? I guess we'll see.

I don't think that the Trumpists want a president for all Americans. They seem to find that offensive.

I don’t prefer Biden but I don’t think he is evil or has any totalitarian motives. I’ll give him a chance and if I met him in person, I would have the humility to shake his hand and say congratulations.

You're very mature for such a young man.

I feel like both sides would really like to come together. I think the things that keep us apart are artificial and unnecessary. We certainly all play our parts in that artificial reality. I think that we could choose to come together but having said that, I often wonder if we have just gone too far down a path that the inevitable split is just baked into our future at this point, destiny if you will. If I could ask for anything at all, I'd ask for a national time of reflection before moving forward. You and everyone else in the entire universe knows that it'll never happen. But it is what we need.

Hello to those that remember me. Been quite a long time.

Trump is one of the worst things that has ever cursed this country. An inept, petulant child is not a person that ever belonged in the White House. Good riddance while you have your little tantrum Donny.
    You LOST. Deal with it.

I am all in and will be the first to promote healing in this nation. No caveats, no hedging. This is the perfect opportunity for our nation to once again become united and I will help lead that charge.... We have a new President Elect and I support him. Time to celebrate and once the celebrations are over, let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work....... And splain’ the Rainman avatar please.

Obviously Biden/Harris winning is good from my perspective.

But successfully flipping Georgia and Arizona is also great from a long-term perspective. These are two big, growing, EV-rich states that used to be comfortably red and are now decidedly purple. Republicans being forced to fight for them each cycle rather than being able to bank them at the beginning of the campaign makes the Democrats' electoral college disadvantage significantly less daunting.

At the beginning of the campaign the big question about how the Democrats could win was whether it was better to focus on the old "Rust Belt path" and recapture Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, or the riskier but potentially higher upside "Sun Belt path" and focus on states like Arizona, Georgia, and Texas. Turns out they were able to do both.

    TEXAS~!!

No, that's me around 2003 standing in London in front of Big Ben. You can kind of see the base of the tower on my right. I'm on the other side of the tower but you can see the façade at the base.

    Doh

SmalltownMN All I can do is shake my head....

I think the Republicans should work posthaste to bring up charges of Chinese collusion. What.......isn't that the way this works? :D

In all seriousness, I'm with my fellow conservatives in here that I will stand for my newly elected president. I hope that he can pull this country back together.
