What are the chances...

that this election is still flipped through legal review and possible SCOTUS intervention and Trump wins a second term?

Personally I think there is very little chance of such and I actually DON’T want the election flipped this late. While I would favor a second Trump term, it would be an absolute crisis if the election result was flipped, possibly spiraling this country into civil discourse, and possible civil war.

So...what is the possibility of such flip and what process would it take for that to happen?

The chances are zero. Even if wrongdoing is proven, it's impossible to know how many votes were effected. There is the official number and the number it might have been. Under those circumstances, the official count rules. It's over.

The election of a Republican president requires a very narrow path to victory, given the fact that California and the rest of west coast along with the Northeast will always vote Democrat. Trump failed to hold the state's he had to get, and he lost.

You really want to have a one party country. One philosophy, one point of view. Every other point of view is dead.

Hitler and Stalin would be proud of you.

Or the GOP could find away to appeal to more people. This shouldn't need to be explained to an adult. Even if he is in diapers

Once folks get tired of the four and five dollar a gallon gas in a year or so..... The Republican Party will start looking more attractive to them.

There is a wide chasm between those of us that spend our time, efforts and resources doing something tangible to improve the human condition for those impoverished...... And those of us that use our time and resources hunting down cute pictures to imply you are doing something.... I know which one I am. Which one are you?

At this point are you sure?

He's been throwing a tantrum for a week now.

When you were five years old would your parents have tolerated a week long tantrum? I know mine wouldn't have and his tantrum affects not only our whole country but the world.

He's acting like a dictator that refuses to leave. Take a look at Belarus for a good example.

He may run his businesses like this but this is not one of his businesses.

This is the United States of America and I, for one, would like to see us this way.

Lil' Donny needs to grow up, get his petulant ass out of office and never be heard from again. He is forbidden to eat at the grown up table on Thanksgiving or any other holiday.

He is incapable of acting like an adult.

I seriously can't figure out what people see in this man or ever saw for that matter. His true self is on display for all to see. There is no argument to be made for his behavior. He doesn't care about anybody but his own ass. Is this not perfectly clear to everyone by now? If not, you're simply not paying attention to your own eyes and ears. He is even more unqualified than even I thought he was. And that is saying something.

And if you want a real kick in the head, Trump is the GOP's leading candidate for the 2024 election cycle.

I didn't vote for the man. I voted for his economic strength. I'll say this. If this economy is still humming four years from now I will commit right now to put my full support behind Joe Biden. However if gas is five bucks a gallon and unemployment is soaring while we tend to all the owls, trees and such.... I'll vote the criminal back in.

His "economic strength" is nothing more than taking credit for the Obama economy. I've pointed this out repeatedly. There is no specific policy Trump enacted that vaulted the economy into overdrive or any other kind of motion. If you simply look at GDP over the last 12 years, Obama had far, far more to contend with and brought this country back from the brink of disaster after the Bush era policies. There was nothing magic about the last four years by any stretch. That was just another lie that was told over and over until enough gullible people believed it. Show me how better the economy has been over the last four years under Trump than it was under Obama. If the economy is going to be your only measuring stick, you might as well speak from a point of credibility, not Trump lies. Please, please provide the data that shows how Trump sent the economy skyrocketing in the last four years.

Look, let's forget the GDP since the pandemic. Although I do feel that Trump is responsible for the mishandling of the coronavirus and resulting GDP variations, let's look through 2019 specifically. How is the growth of the GDP really any different than under Obama? And look where Obama had to start compared to where Trump got to start. Don't fall for Trump's lies.

That's great news. It should be a walk in the park then to keep our economic strength on the upswing for our president elect. I am completely genuine. I don't care if Daffy Duck is heading the administration.... If our economy is strong and humming along, they have my vote. You can give the credit to Walt Disney for all I care. If people are working and confident, I will vote for the man leading the charge. I voted for Bill Clinton his second term for exactly that reason. Call me shallow if you want. When people are working, they are happy and productive. I am a man of my word and if this economy is humming in four years, I will vote for Joe.

I'm not trying to challenge your reasons for voting for whoever you want to vote for. If economics is your concern, great! By all means, vote for the person you think will bring economic security. We all prioritize our choices based on our own experiences. But make sure that your reasons are based in reality, not just someone taking credit where there is no credit to be taken.

Having said that, I can tell you that I believe that Biden will raise taxes. It's inevitable and necessary. As a business person, you know that you can't cut your way out of a deficit if that deficit dwarfs your revenue. You have to both cut where you can and raise revenue where you can. Like any budget, there are baked in costs that you can't cut any further lest you start shaving bone. On the other hand, you can always raise revenue from fat wealthy businesses that have only seen their incomes rise year after year. The wealthy openly admit that they do not pay taxes. The subsidies we pay large corporations have to end. Does your business get government subsidies? Unlikely. Only the really big guys are wealthy enough to get the loopholes passed into law. The smaller businesses can't afford that kind of legislative favoritism.

I am concerned about that. We have a responsibly run and honorable business here. We aren't a mega-corporation with legal departments and all. And I am fully aware that the misdeeds of the ultra-wealthy will also affect my folks.... As an aside, just this morning I figured year end Christmas bonuses for my guys. I have eight folks and they will divvy up 50k. My guys will have a very nice Christmas this year and they deserve it. Based upon my elected leaders performance the previous four years I can assure you that my guys are far more deserving of that 50k than my elected leaders are. It disturbs me that they will work just as hard next year for what will likely be a much smaller reward...... In a bid market we don't have the luxury of passing along our cost increases. It just don't work that way. And mark my words.... If in fact a negative tax consequence will be laid upon us working folks, you will see the economy shrink up like a soldiers rear-end on field maneuvers. I do hear you and I don't have facts and figures to back it up.... But have tax increases ever led to a booming economy?

As a matter of fact, tax increases or more accurately, high taxes on mega-rich corporations DO lead to a booming economy. Here is why. When we had corporate taxes rates in the 80-90% range on income of a million dollars or more in the 1950's and before, the big guys had two choices. 1) They could earn a lot of money and pay most of in taxes, or, 2) They could invest that same money into their businesses hiring new employees, buying new equipment, building new plants, and million other things which the economy thrives on.

The situation today is that these corporations pay their shareholders and top executives huge salaries and bonuses, and stock options, and such and pay nothing in taxes while starving their employees, their raw material suppliers, and the economy in general to the benefit of a few shareholders almost exclusively. And then they move their manufacturing over seas so they can pay some 9-year old Chinese girl 50 cents a day to assemble cell phones. I might be oversimplifying this a bit for the sake of brevity but you get the idea. The more that is invested in the business that isn't exclusively going to shareholders, CEO's and little girls overseas, the more the economy thrives. It worked perfectly fine in the 1950's and it would work today.
