This has been completely predictable all along. We have spent 4 years telling the country what this kind of rhetoric would lead to and now it has. I hope that you are happy with your own complicity. You have brought us to this point through your willingness to defend lies, adhere to alternative realities, and supporting an ego maniac. Enjoy the fruits of your labors republicans. The world is mourning at what you have ushered in.

The astonishing part of this is that you find your rhetoric more ordained somehow. Yes, this is all beyond disgusting. I feel that I live in a third world country. It is high time for the adults to speak and all the rhetoric to end.

    ...and Trump is to blame.

He and his ardent followers. Enjoy your brief fame folks. You'll be forgotten when you're in federal prison.

Well wait just one second.... I watched friends businesses be trashed. I saw a woman’s dog kicked within an inch of his life. I was told that as a Caucasian man I should sit back and allow violence to take place just a few months ago because I am a white insured man and these were peaceful BLM protesters. Bullshit!..... All the while these thugs were cheered on by the left and adored by the press. Come the hell on!!!! Are there not any adults left??? Thugs are thugs. You don’t get it both ways. It’s either law and order or it isn’t. Which is it??? Today’s thugs are no better or no worse than last summers thugs. Jesus the hypocrisy!! All this has got to end. Where the hell are the grown ups?

It's myopic false equivalence to claim that those who attacked the US Capitol on the 6th are "no worse" than BLM protesters.

Not sure what universe you live in Mopar Dude but I'm very near Chicago. The media was not cheering them on. The left did not adore them
The families of those affected (George Floyd, Jacob Blake etc.) were not cheering them on. They were calling for peaceful protests.
Donald Trump couldn't wait to get the Feds involved in places like Chicago, Minneapolis and Portland.
Where was his concern when this started in Washington?

Oh wait, he STARTED it in Washington.

No thuggery is good. This I can agree with you on wholeheartedly but there is a world of difference here.

The BLM movement was years in the making. It came to a head when George Floyd was murdered for all to see.

Today's fiasco started on November 3rd 2020 when poor little Donny lost the election. He (supposedly the President) egged these far right douche bags to converge on our government's capital.
    BIG difference!!!

Are you getting this line of reasoning from Fox? It's dead wrong amigo.

Sorry you're white like me but reality is indeed a heavy concept.

And by the way hundreds have been arrested in Chicago for their activities during BLM protests through video. I guess that's cheering them on in some alternate universe.

Today's clowns were threatening our nation's government. BIG DIFFERENCE.

    One final question for you.

If these were all BLM protestesters instead of a bunch of thugs invited to Washington by Trump would there have been better security measures? More deaths? More arrests?
Would they have even gotten close to the Capitol building?

    Answer me honestly.

These people weren't marching for change and it got out of hand.
    They wanted a coup.
Lock 'em up in Fedearal prisons and let 'em rot.

After years of practicing divisive politics and pitting one tribe against another, what the F#4!! did you expect. One one side you have Portland burning and on the other the Capital being stormed. Good luck America, hope you make 250 but I doubt it. I've had enough of this partisanship.

Rant over. Go back to fun and games.....

Yesterday the police moved out of the way... took photos and did not have the presence they would typically have especially when Congress is in session. Fact

Last weekend I watched an action movie called White House Down. Its a feel good movie where the outcast guy with a big heart saves the president and ultimately the world from a band of insider no-gooders intent on launching the nations nuclear arsenal....

All that aside, the movie was centered around the Capitol building with much chaos and gun battle with the Capitol dome as the backdrop........ Last night while I was comprehending what was going on and flipping from news channel to news channel my daughter asked me why that movie I watched last weekend was on every channel!

I don't know that I have ever had reality strike me so squarely in my forehead. I am disgusted with the chaos. I am disgusted with the rhetoric. I am disgusted with the partisanship. I am disgusted with the president. The next fourteen days cannot come soon enough. My daughter is watching and its time for the adults to show up.

The man was never up to the job. I think that if nothing else I have said about Trump in the last four years had any merit, the unequivocal condemnation of Trump's lacking character should have come through loud and clear.

If this doesn't put to rest the Right's idea that a business person is the best choice for president, then nothing will. The President of the United States isn't s CEO. He is a leader of the American people not the head widget salesman.
