bwahahahahaha ' Even Tucker Carlson, the second most-watched TV presenter in the US, who has remained fiercely loyal to Trump for the past five years, accused him of "recklessly encouraging" the rioters with an inflammatory speech in Washington earlier in the day. "At some point you've got to wonder where our country is putting all of its energy. Is any single president, anyone, worth all of this time and attention?" Carlson said during one of his monologues on Fox News.'
It wasn't me or the Left that spent the last four years ignoring everything this maniac did and said. That was your ilk. You didn't even need introspection. You just had to open your eyes. Open your ears. And you couldn't even manage to do that. Don't talk about introspection when you can't even deal with reality.

A one way street . . . your way? I don't think so . . . Benghazi . . . Steele Dossier . . . FISA Warrants . . . Seattle Riots Minneapolis Riots . . . Defacing / Removing statues & monuments . . . . . . Ad infinitum
I don't expect to convince a true believer because they are dead enders and hopelessly brain-dead. Not my job. But if you truly believe that previous events you railed against justify the events of Wednesday, you are further gone that even I realized. You're just too deep into the Trump cult to be brought back from the edge of the cliff. You clearly are part of the 45% of the Republicans that agree with what the insurrectionists did. Why not just admit it? It's pretty clear to the rest of us. YOU are the problem. Sadly, your entire party has become nothing but lunatics led by an even bigger lunatic. Good luck with that. I'm sure that you will be remembered by history as the lunatics you are. And I am truly grateful to have the wisdom I have to be on the right side of history. Something you'll never experience.
Joe, please describe this accountability you are talking about. Are we talking 9 to 5 struggle sessions with coffee breaks or full blown gulags, for the sin of voting Trump. It is my understanding that the people who did break into the Capitol are being arrested and are to be trialed on current laws. Is that not enough?
That is a huge topic. Thanks for asking. Accountability of course, starts at the top. Everything from the provably false lies Trump told at the rally just before the attack to the actions or inactions by the security personnel that allowed the attack to succeed to the calls for the National Guard that went unheeded. There is just a lot to investigate. So many levels of Republican representatives from State Houses, the military, Right-wing groups, police and fire fighters, and Senators like Cruz and Hawley played a role in this that everything needs to be investigated and charges must be brought to all those responsible. Never forget that Trump was in charge of the security response for the very coup he initiated. That is accountability.
Independent investigation by a non-bias party for all of it. I'm game, but you know that's not going to happen, or is as likely as getting an independent investigation of the election. Why fix something while you can earn mud slinging points. Part of me, no, most of me wants to just simply turn this country over to the Swiss to manage for the next 12 years while we all take a time out in order to earn back the right to self rule. I'm out of here, hopefully before there's a lot more blood on the streets.
Boy JN, did that one go over your head, or what? I'm not trying to justify the events of Wednesday at all. Quite the contrary . . . I'm saying let's go back and fully investigate and prosecute those who, despite not overtly inciting or supporting the aforementioned events, used language which could be interpreted as such by the political opposition. I mean, let's be consistent, okay?
