Congress has the duty to investigate the Executive Branch that just tried to overthrow the Congressional Branch. I think painting the people responsible as bad actors is the least of my concerns. Let the chips fall where they may. At this point, I couldn't care less how many of these traitors and seditionists lose their freedom, their livelihoods, or their lives as a result of their actions. This is not the time to worry about their fate in my opinion. This is far from over as social media has indicated. The quicker these people are rooted out and brought to justice along with their leader, the less blood that will be spilled in the streets. Screw them ALL!
So, if say I went out and said, or tweeted, that your home-based coin business was really a front for baby eating Satanists cult and it was being run out of your basement. I kept saying this over and over. I didn't tell anyone to go break into your house but I definitely incited others to consider doing it with my unfounded accusations and tweets. Would you go after the people that broke into your house and leave it at that or would you do everything in your power to make sure that I didn't start tweeting the same lies the next day? - Edited - Now tell me how what Trump did was any different?
There is just no way that these people ever realize their own hypocrisy unless you throw their own words back at them. Of course, that just reinforces everything they already believe. For the record, I was censored for posting something Mikey himself posted on this very website. It would be interesting to find out which forum rule I broke. Let that sink in. Too funny these Right-wingers.
What Trump did was to encourage conservatives to make their displeasure known to Congress . . . no more, no less. That is not a crime. As for the Edit in your post, had you not DOXED me (not a smart thing to do, and I'll deal with that separately), you would still have slandered me and my business. Whether some uninvited soul visited my residence as a result or not, you'd still be on the hook for the slander.
You can't dox someone if you simply repost something that is already public knowledge. You chose to post that information on this very website. How is that doxing you? Slander. I laugh at that. Also known as oral or spoken defamation, slander is the legal term for the act of harming a person's reputation by telling one or more other people something that is untrue and damaging about that person. You are one desperate true believer and you, just like your leader, abuse your power shamelessly. You're just like Trump. Don't pretend to criticize Trump for our sake. You are just a sad pathetic little man.
Wrong Joe . . . Doxing, by definition is posting personal information about others on the internet without their consent, even if it is information already available in the public record. Wrong again Joe. That is precisely why I wrote, ". . . you would still have slandered me and my business." When you post personal information (name, address, phone, email, etc) about any member, whether someone else or even if it is yourself, it crosses the line. Removing that information is essential to preserving anonymity on P/L (and CT).
Word is finally out, and it has been determined that the attackers at the Capitol on 1/10/21 are responsible for their actions, and that neither the Republican Party, Trump supporters at large, the Trump Administration nor even former President Trump himself is culpable. Go for it FD . . . I can't wait to see what kind of stupid, irrelevant meme you throw out in response.
You're probably right . . . the majority in the next election is bound to be a bunch of unwise, indulgent, know-it-alls who, despite having loads of trivia stuffed in their noggins, can't make a good decision.
Or maybe, the surge on our southern border all turn out to be conservative Catholics, that gain citizenship and overturn Roe vs Wade. That would be fun to watch.
...but these are REALLY bad decisions! What's worse...you never hear anyone say, "In hindsight, maybe we should have done something differently". Biden on Afghanistan: "This is exactly how we planned it"
And leave it to FD to change the subject of a thread, instead of addressing the issue head-on. In the words of Carly Simon, "Nobody does it better".
