I'm sorry, and what where the negative effects of wind, solar, and other renewables again?

My existing home value just jumped. Building materials are about 400 to 500 percent higher than a year ago.

Interesting. What do you attribute that too?

Nobody can afford to build. There is still a demand for single family houses but the cost of materials has skyrocketed. I believe it is only temporary.

. . . and investors scooping up single family homes instead of sidelining their equities profits in stagnating bank accounts and money market funds.

Really? Why are the new construction rates like they are? Maybe I’ve missed something.

Sad to say, but JN's right.

So many stayed home this past year, and took on many home and yard projects during COVID.

Between that substantially depleting the building supplies on hand, and the lack of workers in many companies that make and distribute building materials needed to replenish the supplies, many building projects which kicked off this spring are now stalled in a state of incompletion.

and how do you blame this on liberals?

I didn’t, but since you asked so snarkily, we can attribute the inability to resupply building materials to the liberals slow-walking, or should I say foot-dragging their way back to normalcy . . . Jerk!

Actually, it is even more insidious than that. The production, the logistics, the manpower was all drastically depleted during the pandemic. The supply chains were either repurposed, such as fuel truck drivers quitting driving for fuel companies and switching to driving for companies that were booming like Amazon, or there wasn't enough work in delivering building supplies so drivers just took other jobs. Lots of suppliers and shippers normal line of business were disrupted and it takes time to rebuild them. The good news is that they will get rebuilt and prices will come down. It's just going to take time.

Here is a "truth" for you:  There will not be enough electricity. :oops:o_O Eventually the green commie weenies and liberal snofkake tree huggers will accept the fact. Unfortunately, by then, their  ignorance would have lead to the complete destruction of America. :(
