Here we have it- the big mistake line. Empathy is useless because empathy is not public policy.

    no derrs from me though

    Useless is relative.

Those who have higher levels of empathy have greater abilities to see and understand the cir- cumstances of other people's lives, and therefore may support public policies that address the social welfare and well-being of others.

It is not the president's job to support policies. It is his job to sign or veto legislation, command the armed forces, ask for the written opinion of their Cabinet, convene or adjourn Congress, grant reprieves and pardons, and receive ambassadors. That is all.

Oh, and by the way . . . Joe Biden can no better see and understand the circumstances of other people's lives than I can . . . if you think that's what qualifies him to be president, well you're wrong, and he needs to bring a whole hell of a lot more than that to the table.

Doesn’t seem to understand much of anything, really. He never really was much of a genius.

he doesn’t bring much to the table- but he doesn’t have to when he is only the figurehead meant to show ‘kindness’ while everyone behind the scenes decides which awful policy to push forward next in collaboration with the media.

how empathetic to fellow Americans can he be? Lifting the mask mandates in Texas (and rightfully so), he called those in agreement “Neanderthals”

he asked a black reporter to take a drug test for crack.

he eulogized only a decade ago at Robert Byrd’s funeral, a Democrat KKK member from West Virginia- calling Byrd a “mentor”, “guide”, and “friend”. Byrd himself was not only a KKK member. He was a leader with over 150 members in his chapter and was a segregationist.

Biden yelling to a Michigan worker over guns. Biden went as far as to say “I don’t work for you.”
This happens while his aide and Union bosses are attempting to shut him up just like they do to the pervy old man in the mild dementia ward. (And I’ve seen a lot of them)

You can call the man empathetic but that’s only what he wants you to see. Time and time again this jerk of a president has let the cat out of the bag and let us all see that he himself is a plastic bag in the wind- and will fly whatever way the wind blows. And surely, it’s gusting leftward.

    Since when?

It's funny, we have one guy saying empathy isn't public policy and the other guy saying public policy isn't the president's job. Get on the same page guys.

We aren’t on the same page because we are both individuals with the ability to think and figure things out on their own. Therefore- me and him have different thoughts.

Believe it or not, not every person right of Hillary Clinton is a conspiracist kook. The defenders of ‘Empathy’ and ‘our democracy’ (AKA their oligarchy) strike again

‘Still’ like it wasn’t only a decade ago.

You write this off because it goes past your perceived mental statute of limitations, but I’m sure that you still pull up older junk about others.

I may be new here but I did browse a little beforehand. Seriously, I hope you aren’t like this in your real life. People like you should stick to your echo chambers instead of peeping out into the real world because it really is starting to annoy me. :p

Robert Byrd is a holdover from the dixiecrat switch and the southern strategy. That's when your side took over the KKK.

    :D Ok
If he had such an impact as to be eulogized by the Democrat vice-president of the United States, obviously the switch wasn’t as drastic as you thought.

You're liking/agreeing with each others posts and arguing the same side of the issue. What I believe is that people to the right of Hillary Clinton don't know what the hell they are advocating because their arguments are so poorly articulated.

Defenders of Democracy? REALLY!!?? More like insurrectionists and terrorists.

Do you support the Republicans? You are who you support.

Byrd changed and called being part of KKK biggest mistake of his life. that was in the 1940s in the south.

I am always perplexed why people to the right of Hillary Clinton keep referring to the political alliances of 60 or 70 years ago. What's wrong with talking about the current political alliances? Seems to me like the current political alliances are slightly more relevant than those of the past century.
