It's far past the time we put the victims of gun violence on TV

If we have to accept that our sons and daughters and wives and husband's and everyone we love will be slaughtered by high powered weapons wielded by ammosexual men just for going to the mall, we need to see the carnage plastered across our newspapers, our TV sets, and our computer screens every single time it happens.

There is no other way to end this Republican wild west carnage show than to stop hiding from the reality of unchecked guns on our streets.

If it were me laying in the parking lot bushes with no face, I'd want the world to see what the Republicans have brought us.

BTW Google the pictures of the little girl laying in the bushes with her face shot off. If you can't do it, I don't care to hear anything you have to say. You're a coward.

Thanks to HIPPA, I cannot even find out why my church family is hospitalized….. Like anyone would have the audacity to even want to view a brutally murdered child emanates a sickness that I can’t fathom. So I rather think that we won’t be seeing murdered humans on the television anytime soon…… Sick people do what sick people do. And suggesting that societal sickness is a Republican issue tells me that you have some deep seated reality issues that you need to address.

I never expected the source of the problem to accept the solution.

I’m sorry. But the Bill of Rights wasn’t written by the Republican Party and sadly, didn’t address the the social instability that is pandered to by the Democratic Party.

Joe, the demoncrats you voye for are soft on crime. Guns don't kill people, people do and if you cared to report the ENTIRE TRUTH you would have told us that it was not a gun that stopped the killing it was a PERSON with a gun. Democrats let bad guys back on the street. They - demoncrates alone - are the reason for the breakdown of the American Society. They took God out of our schools, dumbed down the kids, and lately let shoplifters steal up to $900 with out any consequences.

    IMO, the only
COWARDS are the two atheist girliemen members here who refuse to answere direct questions because they cannot without looking like fools and the SNOWFLAKES who tremble at the image of an AR-15! There is a reason we have a 2nd ammendment! THERE IS ALSO A REASON THOSE IN POWER REFUSE TO CARRY OUT THE LAWS ON THE BOOKS AND THE DEATH PENALTY.

You see, it is very simple: DEAD CRIMINALS DO NO'T COMMIT CRIMES!

IMO, due to the fact that @JoeNation lhas shown he is challenged with regard to English he posted this very lame reply:

o_O:rolleyes: O.M.G.! Can't you read? Many of us feel sorry for you and the harm you and your ilk cause America. If you are going to reply to a post (often you don't) please make sense. Space on a political forum for the expression of informed ideas is a terrible thing to waste! :D:p

Let’s put the photos on tv of the thirteen massacred U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan (thanks to biden) while we’re at it.

Oh, and let’s not forget to show the deceased corpses of the four embassy employees who were slaughtered in Benghazi (thanks to hillary), too.

And every police officer who was killed across this great nation due to the lax policies of democrats.

And the bodies of every girl and boy who were raped and killed by illegal immigrants due to biden’s sorry policies, ineptitude and negligence.

Yeah, that would be a good start.

You know… It is generally regarded that when a problem exists, those that do the blaming and finger wagging are typically a big part of that problem. There is an issue with regards to firearms and I am man enough to acknowledge that….. But there also exists a deep erosion of morality and value systems in our nation now that is feeding the sickness in young people’s minds and the left needs to be man enough to take ownership of that. Look, I am all about being fair and objective. So how bout we get fair and objective here.

    Fair enough. What's your solution?

Here, you might as well see the type of people you want to make sure have enough guns.

Gunman in Texas mall shooting may have had neo-Nazi beliefs

ALLEN, Tex. — The gunman who opened fire on an outlet mall in a Dallas suburb Saturday, killing at least eight people, was a man in his early 30s who may have had white supremacist or neo-Nazi beliefs, people familiar with the investigation said Sunday.

Mauricio Garcia, a local resident, had multiple weapons on him and in his nearby car, said people familiar with the investigation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the ongoing probe.

Authorities have not released a motive, but a patch on his chest said “RWDS,” an acronym that stands for Right Wing Death Squad, according to people familiar with the investigation. The phrase is popular among right wing extremists, neo-Nazis and white supremacists, they said. In addition to the weapons found on his body, investigators found another five guns inside his car nearby, these people said.

And you regard this sickness any differently than the sickness that existed in the transgender young lady that shot up the Christian school several weeks back?…… I’m telling you. It is a deep sickness affecting our young population and it is exactly these sorts of divisive discussions that are propagating it. You want to see this end like I do? Then teach the Ten Commandments. Teach and model morality. Effect those two simple changes and the firearms will cease finding their way into our schools and shopping malls. Gun legislation will not be effective. Personal responsibility will. This is the solution.

There is only one sentence in your post that I agree with....kind of.

One bill completely or partially rescinding the Second Amendment. The problem would virtually go away in no time. Never totally, but 99% without a doubt.

While you choke on that, watch this. Tell me, how could this guy have been stopped by legislation?

So your solution is to nullify the constitution through legislation? So let's start with the 2nd amendment and establish a roadmap and precedence to void all the other aspects of the Constitution a fleeting simple legislative majority may disagree with.

I did watch... Tearfully in fact. I cannot imagine in my absolute worst dreams how carnage at an American shopping mall can be no different than carnage on a battlefield. There is no way a human mind can comprehend such senseless loss...... But Joe, you make my point. No, legislation cannot and will not rectify this problem. Only we can individually in the way we teach and model mortality to those that look up to us.

While we're at it, let's also show on tv all the overdose deaths in Bellingham, WA after hard drugs were decriminalized there a couple of years ago. The overdose deaths include that of a 5-year-old girl.

These idiotic, far-left, whacko, bleeding heart ideas never work.

It doesn't nullify the Constitution. It alters/cancels one amendment that has become outdated and highly dangerous to society. We've done it before. If you can't adjust your thinking beyond a 200+ year old ideal, you are lost in the past.

You can't legislate morality. And if you are counting on people like this guy, a white supremacist, to suddenly find his moral compass, you are more deluded than I can comprehend. The only solution, the one 90% of the country wants, is to remove these weapons from our streets. The problem is unfettered access.

Please tell us @JoeNation what YOU would do in a situation like this WITHOUT a firearm of your own? Would you stand there with your hand on your hip, wagging your finger at the intruders and telling them that it was illegal for them to have a gun because the Second Amendment had been rescinded?

Maybe it's "far past time" we started putting pictures of dead, would-be intruders on tv.

Tennessee homeowner kills intruder, wounds second after they allegedly held teen at gunpoint, tased dog

Homeowner not facing any charges in shooting of alleged home invaders

    May 8, 2023

A homeowner in Tennessee shot two intruders, killing one, Friday night after the men tased the family’s dog and held their teenage son at gunpoint, authorities said.

Officers in Murfreesboro responded just before 8:30 p.m. to the home in the 100 block of January Street and found a masked man with multiple gunshot wounds at the front door of the home, the Murfreesboro Police Department said.

The alleged intruder, identified as 52-year-old Kevin Ford, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other intruder, identified as 42-year-old Clifford Wright, was located at the Salvation Army on Main Street with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.

Detectives said a preliminary investigation revealed that Ford and Wright broke into the family’s home through the front door while both wearing gloves and masks.

The men tased the family’s dog and held their teenage son at gunpoint before the homeowner grabbed his own gun, police said. The homeowner then shot the intruders several times.

Three people were in the home at the time of the incident, according to authorities. No injuries among the victims were immediately reported.

The homeowner is not facing any charges in connection with the shooting, police said.

Wright was treated at a hospital before being released and taken to jail. He faces charges of aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated robbery, convicted felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent felony.

Wright is being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $700,000 bond. He is set to appear in Rutherford County General Sessions Court on June 5.
