Unfortunately for the concept of liberty, freedom and unity there is a contingent in our country who believe that the flags of North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, the old USSR, etc. (you get the idea) are prettier than Old Glory. Personally, I’ve not found a flag yet that symbolizes the best ideals of humanity and the rights inherent in all its citizens. If anyone here can show me a national flag that symbolizes anything better than what the American flag represents, I’d like to see it. HINT: You can’t.
Well, there is the penalty flag against the Patriots, that comes to mind....a beautiful flag! It means the Ref just pizzed off the Goat and Gronk, and we will be entertained by a uniquely American knockdowndragemout spectacular Comeback.
Well I'm a red-blooded, patriotic American and I love our flag, but I've got to say that Estonia's flag is quite pretty, as is Rhodesia's. Many old-world flags are. Aesthetic value I wouldn't place America as #1, but in representative value, it trumps all. Bhutan and Albania are also aesthetically appealing, but don't represent the freedom and liberty that I hold in the highest regard. From a theistic perspective, free will differentiates us from any other earthly being, and enshrining our human uniqueness is something that we see chiefly in our Constitution. As such, I have not only a personal, but religious love for the US of A.
I am a little suspicious, here. This is exactly how an undercover Commie would converse in writing, with all the big word la di da and high falootin' preachin'. Plus, no true Murican writes "US of A". I saw the movie...I'm calling the FBI, you Soviet Plant, so you better catch the first plane back to BorschtLand, COMMIE!!!
Addressing the Bible aspect of the thread - I have one. Plus they are a complimentary gift with an overnight stay at all Marriot properties and most Hilton brands. So I doubt I'll be buying a new one anytime soon.
Are you kidding me? Tone-deaf Jobie ate the (chocolate) rabbit ears (yer old enough t'remember them, right?) with which he could have improved his reception of The People’s message. Thus, the atheist peeps of the Democrat Party, half of which withheld their eggs from the stork, could continue advancing their forget-Jesus-revisit-Sodom agenda. Always wanted t'be a storyteller . . .
It has been years since I was last visited by the Easter Bunny but I do not recall ever receiving an invoice for the goods and services rendered.
The same thing non-believers have to do with Easter? The same thing ignorant people have to do with politics. Problem is that ignorant people get to vote and ruin my country!
