Well, you called yourself a liberal, I only went along with you. Expecting the government to solve ones problems makes one a liberal. More government is not a good thing. The idea of taxing the wealthy because it's not fair is liberal idealogy. Failing to see that the wealthy keep this country moving and shaking, by spending and hiring is a result of not actually studying economics 101, and tends to lead to a form of class warfare, " lets punish the rich" and " make it fair", which in turn ends up hurting those we aim to help. When we tax Exxon's "unfair" profits, we will pay those taxes, not Exxon. That is but one example. There are many more. I don;t think you are a stinkin liberal. I think you are just fed up. Many of your ideas are not liberal at all in anyway shape or form. They are just American. Believe it or not, conservatives also read , watch, and want a better America as well. However the way to achieve that goal of a better America is different. Liberals want government to solve the problems. Conservatives want government to get the hell out of the way . Stop taxing us to death, stop telling us how we must make or sell or import our product and let the consumers decide. Free market will solve itself, the strong will survive and the weak will fail. Kinda like nature. Look at what regulations have done to the auto industry, they are dying under the weight of Liberalism. Tax and regulate.
